Dr, Vincent is a great listener, is empathetic and professional. He takes the time to explain diagnoses and treatments clearly and welcomes questions. I am extremely pleased with the care that I have received.

Uses new technology to help reduce any nerve damage.

Dr. Vincent takes the time to explain the test results in understandable terms as well as options and recommendations for further treatment.

Dr Vincent as well as Miss Candice are wonderful With pending surgery they have been very kind and reassuring . Candice has made the administrative issues very accommodating which lessens the stress for making and my family Dr Vincent is very kind considerate when talking with me about my care and upcoming treatment plans I feel confident that he will put my best interest first when it comes to treatment plans and surgeries I would highly recommend this duo

When I called to see if Dr Vincent would accept a new patient who is using the Veterans Affairs Insurance I was told they don’t accept the current VA insurance. I’m a veteran and I was very insulted by this. I have no other insurance at the moment

Dr. Vincent will go over everything with you and will be honest about what needs to happen and most of all he listens to you.

Everything was explained well, and the fact that I have RA was considered with further CTs ordered.

Dr. Vincent is one of the best surgeons I have had and I’m going in for my 3rd spine operation from him. His surgical skills has taken me from misery to pain free on two separate occasions. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I had an initial consult with Dr. Vincent to review my lumbar/disc problem that is impacting the nerves in my legs, and discuss surgical options for treatment. Dr. Vincent immediately put me at ease, had thoroughly reviewed my MRI results prior to meeting with me (even had the images on his phone so he could review them with me during the visit), and offered candid and logical advice concerning surgical and non-surgical options for relieving my pain. His demeanor, knowledge, and communications style inspire a great sense of confidence. I was very favorably impressed and would not hesitate to choose him as my surgeon if I decide to go ahead with back surgery.

I always receive excellent care during my visits with Dr. Vincent. He’s very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I always understand my care plan, because he makes sure you understand. The staff members are professional and the office is comfortable.

The best Dr I have ever visited for a specialty. Warm, friendly,interested and involved in descriptions of my issues. I'm recommending this practice and especially Dr David Vincent as the best. Also the office is high tech,the front desk staff super nice. Thank you all for this experience.

Dr Vincent with an incredible team of physicians, PA's, best nurses, I felt safe and comforted by the staff (including an administrative staff that is kind, considerate, helpful & will help you with appointments, insurance & checking in easily, quickly. Dr Vincent on my first visit made me comfortable and safe with somewhat my scary (to me) conditions. He explained what procedure would be best, the present and future of my spinal conditions. I had so many questions. Dr Vincent and all of his team had the latest and best medical procedures. I've already been relieved me of much pain in my back, hips and legs. I was reassured and confident of the decisions we made together. The entire Jordan-Young staff worked with me and for me. Dr Vincent went over my symptoms and prognosis, which thankfully was good. I went to Dr. Vincent after having been with an orthopedist specializing in backs; I had seen him and his PA for 18 months. I was unhappy and wanted a second opinion. Ideally a neurosurgeon is who should operate on a person back. With the first appointment my husband and I felt comfortable with Dr. Vincent. He had a previous x-ray and MRI to look at and showed me on his phone the troublesome spots, explaining everything. L1 through L5 were compromised, but he believed fusing L4 and L5 and using four screws would solve my sciatic pain and numbness down one leg. That first visit I told him I wanted surgery. There was no pressure, no drastic warnings. Three weeks post surgery and my life is so much better. No sciatic pain at all. At the first post-op appoint Dr. Vincent said the numbness will take longer to disappear. I am looking forward to being pain free in a few months. Dr. Vincent and his team have been outstanding. I had a major procedure, fusion of L4,5, S1. Prior of surgery, I did a lot of research and asked a number of physicians that I know the question: To whom would you go for this procedure? By far the most consistent answer was David Vincent. I had 3 in person discussions and 1 telephone conversation with Dr. Vincent prior to surgery. From these interactions, I was very comfortable with his competence and my decision to have him do the surgery. He took the time to explain the issues and the proposed procedure to address them. Of significance is his caring and considerate attitude. This continued with our post-surgical interactions. During the 1st 4-5 weeks after the surgery, I had a number of questions. I would call or email these questions to Dr. Vincent’s contact person and she would always respond in a very timely manner with an answer from Dr. VIncent or the Physician Assistant. This was very reassuring. This has been a challenging experience, and I hope that I never need to have a medical procedure of comparable involvement; however, if I did, it would be my good fortune to have a treatment team that would be as outstanding as Dr. Vincent’s team has been. Hands down THE Best Neurosurgeon I’ve ever met!!!

Dr. Vincent has been my spine doctor/neurosurgeon since 2015. He performed massive surgery on my spine in November 2016. After the recovery period, my back felt like nothing had ever been wrong. In August 2020, back pain returned. A pain specialist tried several treatments, none of which worked. I returned to Dr. Vincent, who ordered new tests. The problem has finally been pinpointed thanks to a procedure he ordered. I'll have surgery in February. I have complete and total faith in him that I will have no back (and leg) pain afterward. Very thorough and spent a long time discussing my issue with me.

I can only say my experience was worth 5 stars. Dr. Vincent clearly explained in layman's terms what my MRI showed. Further explaining the best steps to take first to insure that surgery is needed. Dr. David Vincent is simply the finest neurosurgeon in the Hampton Roads area! He has a superior bedside manner and way of dealing with patients on any level and his staff is second to none.

Dr. Vincent was amazing! I switched to Jordan Young after years of horrible experiences with Atlantic Orthopedic and was hoping to finally figure out what was wrong. BEST DECISION I ever made. Dr. Vincent knew exactly what the problem was within minutes. He explained everything, was very knowledgeable but moreover was patient and very compassionate. In my experience it’s hard to find a good doctor with good bedside manner but I found it all with him. The staff is great and easy to work with. Definitely recommend! Dr. Vincent was amazing! It was a wonderful office, very professional but kind and informative as well. Answered all questions I had at that time. Would highly recommend Dr. Vincent, especially if you need surgery. My sister was up and running so fast after her back surgery, I was amazed!

Dr. Vincent makes you feel as if you are the most important patient he has. He is attentive to your concerns, takes the time to explain all facets of the proposed treatment, and offers alternatives of care. Very professional and inspires confidence in his proposed treatment plan. Consummate clinician! Recommend him to anyone.

Doctor Vincent is an amazing surgeon. Very responsive to my needs and provided a successful outcome for me. He is conservative, so that means he will do the least amount of surgery for which he sees evidence of need. That is good, because you don’t want more back surgery than absolutely necessary. But that also means that in my case a second surgery was needed 11 months after the first. It takes a long time to get an appointment and get the things done to be sure surgery is actually needed. When you are in pain a long time is really hard. But a good surgeon is worth the wait. I would encourage people who are miserable to push the staff a bit. They seem a little unresponsive as far a getting things scheduled and getting in to actually seeing Dr Vincent. The PA cannot really get you to your surgery date. But my experience pretty much began at the beginning of the Covid shutdowns and ended when the governor relaxed the restrictions. So perhaps others experiences may be better. But I had to push pretty hard and narrowly ( I believe) avoided permanent damage. Doctor Vincent is an amazing surgeon. Very responsive to my needs and provided a successful outcome for me.
