Dr Vanhooser did a quadruple bypass on me. If not for him I truly believe I would be dead. He has followed my health since and is truly one of the most intelligent and caring Dr's that I know. I Thank God for this Dr's care.

Loved that doctor wasn't rushed. Talked with us so that we could understand what was going on and procedure needed. Really impressed with Dr.Vanhooser.

Our experience with Dr Chrysant, Dr Vanhooser and RN John Davis was beyond reproach. These three men are excellent personalities with a good understanding of human nature. I have the utmost confidence in each of them.

My experience was very nice! I would recommend Dr. Vanhooser to anyone!

Dr. Vanhooser answered all my questions and performed a lobectomy on right lung. Squmacell Carcinoma was the pathology. Lymph nodes were checked and clear, so surgery continued. Surgery was successful and 10 days post-surgery I am feeling like I will survive. Tests show no more cancer thanks to the diligence, and experience of Dr. Vanhooser I an totally happy with his work and would highly recommend him to anyone. He saved my life!

Friendly, professional, very knowledgeable with a wonderful staff. I recommend him and his team for anyone with any cardiovascular issues.

I recently had lung surgery at Integris by Dr. Vanhooser. I am 70 yrs. old and I Honestly can say I would highly reccomend Dr. Vanhooser and his entire polite, professional staff to anyone ! So very professional and kind and very considerate ! Best of the best in my old farmer opinion hands down ! I thank GOD for providing such intelligent medical professionals . Support staff very positive and helpful. First visit to the doctor, but he seems very knowledgeable and competent. He took the time to explain things and answered all my questions in detail. Dr Vanhooser was caring and took time to make me feel good about what he did.

Dr David Vanhooser is a wonderful dr. Explained everything with a lot of patience. Appreciated him.

I was very disappointed in the office appointment practice. They must book several patients for the same time and your set time means nothing. I sat in the crowded hot waiting room for half an hour past my appt time before I was taken to an exam room. I there waited another hour before the doctor graced me with his presence. If it wasn't important I would have not sat there. Doctors in general have no regards for the patient's time. We have lives that should not be centered around sitting in their offices for hours past our scheduled appointment time. I was very disappointed in the office appointment practice. Dr. Vanhooser is a very professional and caring doctor. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Vanhooser is always nice and smiling when I see him. He and his staff take the time to show they care and that you are not just another patient to get in and out of the office.

Dr Vanhooser is an excellent surgeon and has repeatedly encouraged me along this chapter of my life. I can’t imagine where I would be without him and Stephanie. I will forever be grateful to them for saving my life.

I discovered my advanced coronary artery disease (CAD) through a heart scan at Integris Baptist Heart Hospital. The hospital was offering an advanced heart scan for only $50. Although insurance would not pay for it, I thought it was a good idea due to family history and other factors. My calcium score was above 1500 and I was advised to see a cardiologist promptly. I met with Dr. Jeffery Sparling who performed an angiogram to determine further treatment. The test revealed multiple coronary arteries blocked @ 90 %. I was referred to Dr. David Vanhooser as my cardiothoractic surgeon. Dr. Vanhooser is extremely profressional, courteous and empathetic. He explained the nature of my problems and said I would need a quintuple coronary arterial bypass graft (CABG) open heart surgery. He showed me the blockages in the arteriogram films and explain in detail what needed to be done. His professional office staff scheduled me for surgery and even allowed me to state a preference for a cardio anathesiologist after I had done my research on the doctors frequently working with Dr. Vanhooser in surgery. I requested Dr. Mark Fine and this was confirmed. The procedure went quite smoothly. I spent a day in ICU/CCU and then 5 days in the hospital. This was exactly what was described to me by Dr. Vanhooser. Dr. Vanhooser is very highly regarded by all the medical staff I spoke with, has pioneered several new surgical techniques and is an extremely skilled surgeon. I suppose I was most impressed with the way my Wife was regarded throughout the entire process. All of her questions were answered compassionately and professionally and she was told she would be a very important part of my recovery. No one wants to have heart surgery, but if you must, I highly recommend Dr. David Vanhooser and his professional and courteous staff. Thanks to his blessed skills, faith, education and experience, I am alive today. I will never be able to thank him enough. God Bless! Very pleasant and informative visit. Dr. Vanhooser spent extra time answering all my questions. I received his full attention during my visit. O would recommend him to anyone, requiring the assistance of a cardiothoracic surgeon. He is scheduled to be the physician for my upcoming valve replacement surgery

Dr. Vanhooser and his office staff are exceptional. Mona, Cindy, Bambi go above and beyond patient service. Stephanie Vanhooser (Nurse Practitioner) is compassionate and the consulate professional. I had a minor complication from my CABG x 5 surgery. A seroma developed on the medical side if my right knee which needed out-patient surgical attention. The entire staff in Dr. Vanhooser's office assisted me in getting scheduled and we're very kind. Their courtesy, respect, professionalism and pleasant demeanors are exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Vanhooser and his professional staff should you require cardiovascular surgery. The comfort and care you receive will not disappoint.

First time I met Dr was under critical condition, literally. This Dr and his staff without a doubt saved my life!!

Every encounter we have had with this office has been awful. The doctor seems arrogant and treats you like you are stupid. He didn't give compression stockings to us and didn't prescribe proper treatment so therefore the insurance denied prior authorization for procedure. His staff is short, rude and not willing to help. They act like they are too busy and don't care when we called to follow up. We had to keep on them to get any answers. They lost a patient because we will not be going back!
