He's an amazing physician with a genuinely friendly bedside manner. He's done 3 foot surgeries (I didn't follow compliance instructions) an returned my ability to walk pain free again. I highly recommend Dr. Valbueno for all foot needs.

The visit was not organized well from beginning to end. My paper work was rushed. Even though I came early to start it. They did not even go over what I had the opportunity to write down. They tried xraying the wrong foot, if they would had gone over paper work that could had been avoided, but I know we are human, so that was an easy fix. (Besides being rushy rushy the ladies helping me were pleasant) Once I got to the room Dr. Val started asking me questions, which I proceeded to answer. None of my answers seemed good enough for him. I told him how I rolled my ankle, where the pain started. How long it has been, and where it the pain has moved to since the experience. When I told him that my ankle never bruised or got swollen, he proceeded to tell me swelling isn’t bruising. Okay, dude. I’m done. I definitely understand that. I never said that. I ended up asking him if he would like to me leave because of how cold and condescending he was with me. HE DID NOT have an inviting energy at all. I DID NOT feel welcomed. I cried you guys, I am a 34 year old women who couldn’t even stop her tears, and trust me I tried. It takes a lot for me to cry, but wow. Recently saw Dr. Valbuena for an ingrown toenail. I thought everything went well and was prescribed medication to help with the infection until I was able to come in for surgery. Less than 24 hours after taking the medication my foot worsened dramatically and I had to go to an Urgent Care as I was leaving for a trip and they couldn’t get me in. I find out that the medication prescribed wasn’t even proper Antibiotics nor the proper dose. The Urgent Care doctor had to drain the infection due to how bad it was and wondered why this podiatrist didn’t drain it upon seeing it since it was so bad. The office also didn’t run my insurance, still charged me a copay, and then was sent another bill in the mail for $300. Definitely won’t be going through them for surgery. I saw Dr. Valbuena just yesterday at his Savannah office. First time ever seeing a podiatrist....I had an ingrown toenail that needed to get taken care of, after messing with it myself for several weeks. Dr. Valbuena was great, very personable and easy to talk to! Both he and his staff were very friendly and attentive....true professionals! Highly recommend! Dr. Valbuena is an amazing person with a sense of humor as well. He explains everything in English so that you will understand and the staff is helpful also. Big shout out to Heather she goes above and beyond for her patients. Thanks Dr. V.

Great bedside manner. Explained everything thoroughly. I opted for a surgical fix. I was able to to call the answering service on a Saturday morning and Dr Valbuena returned my call within 2 minutes of me hanging up! I highly recommend Dr. Valbuena. I saw him today as a new patient and he was awesome. Very personable and knowledgeable. Excellent!!!

AMAZING!!! He is so down to earth and understanding. I have been telling everyone I know to go to his practice. Thank you for everything!! If you have plantar fasciitis <-- GO TO HIM!

Excellent doctor! Tells you the truth and works hard to help. I suffered from pain in my right foot four two years and seen three other doctors before Dr. Val, he had me pain free in four months!!

I had a previous surgery with complications and lived in pain I went to see Dr Valbuena and he took the time to research what I had done and send me for test and explain in language I could understand what he could and couldn't do he was upfront and honest. I highly respect him

I found Dr. Valbuena to be very tall and very kind. He was very gentle and seemed to have a real concern for my feet problems and what could done to help me with my pain...
