He is an awesome dr. He just operated on my thumb and I can bend it again without any issues. I didn’t even need any pain meds. Thank you Dr. Tonnies.

Shoulder surgery in 2014 on rotator cuff. Excellent office staff and Dr. Tonnies was excellent as well. Called me that evening to see how I was doing. 2021 now and shoulder doing great.

Super Surgeon! Has a wonderful bedside manner. I have had three surgeries all done by him and would go to no one else ! He cares so much about his patients that he himself calls you the night after surgery just to check on you.

Poor performance for friend's knee replacement. He used a size 14 when she needed a size 10! He dismissed her complaints of pain and limping. She had a knee replacement by another doctor and is doing fine.

I have had shoulder arthroscopic surgery, knee arthroscopic surgery and trigger finger surgeries by Dr. Tonnies. I would not go anywhere else. What doctor calls you the night of surgery to see how you are doing? Dr. Tonnies does. Floored me the first time I got the call. I have had excellent outcomes from all my surgeries. His staff is also outstanding in the care they provide and knowledge they possess. Thank you Hermitage Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

Not patient focused. Physician Assistant, poor communicator, not truthful with plan of care for patient. When a question is asked, unfortunately, does not feel the need to have to be accountable and explain things. I am a medical professional and Can say, if you want, patient focused, quality care, go elsewhere. Your a dollar sign , not a patient. Fine Medical Professionals exist, just not here.

Had no problems with my total knee and rotator surg.
