Dr Terreson, PA Darby, and his entire staff are simply the best.

My wife and I have been loyal patients to Dr. Terreson for a few years, having been referred to him by our best friend / Doctor. We know that Dr. Terreson's credentials are impeccable, and we love our visits with him. We really like Dr. Terreson and would like to stay with him, but we have, since the Covid days, not been able to make contact with his office after several tries over the past 6 months. We had a video conference during the pandemic, during which he ordered a blood draw for me and assured us he would get back with us on the lab results. Never heard a word.... and could never get past his many gatekeepers to let him know. Dr. Terreson has been as late as 4 hours to one of our appointments, with several appointments being over an hour late. In about half of our appointments over the years we have waited in his front room for 45 minutes or more with no explanation, excuse, or even apology. Since we have to drive for almost an hour to get to his office, and then cannot be assured that he will be timely for our appointment.... we are considering a search for a new cardiologist. I would be passing all this along to Dr. Terreson, but have not been able to contact him for this entire year to date. Dr. Terrison is the best. He listens carefully and explains everything clearly and with great detail; just what I want. I will continue to work with Dr. Terrison on a long term basis.

After a fainting incident that fractured the C1 vertebrae in my neck, requiring a visit to the St. David's ER, I later had my first visit with Dr. David Terreson who was highly recommended to me by my primary physician, Dr. John Murray. There was no wait and my appointment was on time; all staff very helpful and pleasant. The doctor's aid, David, was excellent and prepared me for Dr. Terreson's exam. Dr. Terreson is extremely competent, approachable and kind. He explained everything thoroughly and gave me sufficient time to ask all my questions. I have scheduled further tests with his office along with a follow-up appointment. I left feeling very confident I was in the best of hands for medical treatment by a brilliant and compassionate physician associated with St. David's, a top rated hospital and medical system.

I've been seeing Dr. T for 2+ years, during which time he has helped me with my weak heart. He is personable, compassionate, competent and considerate. He spends whatever time it takes to discuss treatment in a straight forward, caring and down-to-earth way. These traits are reflected by a very proficient and friendly staff.

Dr. Terreson is just the best! He came highly recommended by my daughter when I was diagnosed with high blood pressure that sent me to the emergency room! After experiencing very good health for most of my life, I was understandably concerned. Have known of Dr Terreson since 2002 when he treated my late wife for coronary insufficiency secondary to chemotherapy. Hoped he would still be practicing if I ever needed a cardiologist. Fortunately in 2019 he and his staff were able to satisfactorily treat my coronary heart disease. Would highly recommend him and his staff.

Initial visit with new cardiologist. So happy I changed. Dr Terreson was much more experienced than my previous doctors and gave me a wealth of information about my overall cardiac health that was very reassuring.

Dr. Terrison has been my heart doctors since about 2008. Thorough (examinations), personable, and surrounded by great support staff.

Dr. Terreson has been my Cardiologist for many years and is awesome. He takes his time to talk with you to make sure you understand and is always courteous and friendly. I have had excellent healthcare and trust him and his office staff to be on top of my health care needs. His office staff are awesome and quick to respond if I call .

Dr. Terreson, Darby, and the team have kept me alive now for nearly 15 years after my bypass surgery. That's pretty darn good. I could not have been luckier than to have drawn them when I had my heart attack. I strongly recommend them to anyone needing cardiology services.

Dr Terreson monitored my late wife's carido activity for several years for possible cancer involvement during her extended illness. He was always very through, caring, warm and compassionate I could not have asked for a more professional and all around "good guy" for a doctor. My personal initial visit was for a simple pre surgery screening and found him to be no different than when he was caring for my wife. I feel that he is as much a friend as a physician and he has gained my complete trust and confidence. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend him to family or friends!!

Dr. Terreson is a complete physician. He listens to patients, makes appropriate evaluations, and provides the proper options for each patient, presenting them to the patient who makes final decisions. He had your health as his primary concern. I look for physicians like David and I am a physician.

The office of Dr Terreson is a pleasure to visit. The staff is friendly and they offer a variety of snacks and drinks while you wait. Our wait is never long unless an emergency takes place. As soon as we are seated in our room a technician comes in and runs necessary tests and then PA comes in and asks for update them Dr Terreson comes in shortly after she leaves. It is a smooth process and even though I know they are under a time crunch they answer all questions and make sure you are well taken care of, even getting appmts. for you if they recommend another Dr. for a proccedure. Dr Terreson is brillant as is Darby his PA.If you choose this practice youare in good hands.

I moved to Austin in 2006, Dr Terreson has been my cardiologist since then. A stroke, heart attack, paracadis, and a stent, he has literally saved my life more than once.

Dr. Terreson has monitored my rapid heartbeat and my family history of cardiac disease carefully. Testing shows that I do not carry the tendencies of my siblings and he has allowed me to go from annual exams in his office to monitoring by my personal care physician with his door always open to me with any concerns. I so appreciate his thoroughness and support.

I've been seeing Dr. Terreson for several years, and it's very evident he truly cares about how you are doing. If things are fine he doesn't schedule unnecessary tests, but if there are questions, he makes sure things are checked out. He spends the time needed to evaluate you in a thorough way, and is a skilled communicator. I genuinely trust him.

Dr. Terreson was a bit upset that the hospital gave no information as what was diagnosed by the doctors there. I very much like Dr. Terreson, and the way he talks to me, kinda like a old family doctor, and he dose not hold any punches, he tells ir like it is.

Dr. Terreson was unavoidably running late due to a medical procedure he was involved in, and to be honest I was half expecting him to be trying to make up time and to spend very little time with me. That was absolutely not the case. Even though I did not have very significant symptoms he didn’t just blow me off and say everything was probably OK. He took the time to explain what he was thinking and ordered some tests and we’ll see what happens! I was very happy with my experience. Everyone else in his office that I had contact with was professional and courteous and very helpful. I would highly recommend choosing Dr. Teravista and his staff for any of your cardiac needs.

This visit was a followup from May where I was having severe stinging pain across my upper check. Heart and lungs were ruled out earlier from many test done at St Davids. In May Dr Terreson listened intensely for over 20 minutes to my description. When I finished he said he thought I had a spasmodic esophagus and prescribed medication. Within 24 hours after taking the first dose of the medication I was pain free and continue to be pain free.

Tech was caring and kind. No waiting - appointment on time. Dr. Terreson always takes time to discuss any health issues, not just my heart, and answers any questions I have. Also, he sees me in Bastrop!

quite pleased with Dr Terreson and his staff. had a stent implanted in 98 so i guess it worked. :-) the key is, he listens. even when we did not agree on things, he let me discuss it and we came to a mutual agreement on options and a plan. the staff is friendly and easy to work with.

Had an emergency hospitalization. Dr. Terresson and his staff arranged a quick follow up after discharge. He had to fit me in and stayed after hours to make sure that my condition had stabilized and improved.

We recently saw Dr Terreson whom we had not seen in several years. We had some mri results which were of a concern and Dr. Terreson’s office fit us in to see him within one day. He took so much time with us and we left feeling that he was totally on top of my Medical issues. His staff were remarkable. They worked with several different testing facilities to minimize our travel time, as we live out of town. Great experience all around Would highly recommend Dr. Terreson and Cardio Texas.

Dr. Terreson showed up 45 minutes late to my appointment. After being 45 minutes late he seemed completely unsympathetic and did a very poor job explaining everything to me. It seemed like they just wanted me out the door. This may have been an off day, but it nonetheless felt uncourteous.
