Very dirty place, unproffessional doctor, all they care about is your money. horrible place. avoid!

Recently I was shocked by Dr. Stern incompetency and unprofessional practicies. One day, in the morning, Mr. Stern has examined a patient (my father in-law) with the clear symptoms of pneumonia (sever coughs), but he has not performed any diagnostics, not even an X-Ray. He said my father in-law is OK and that he does not need any treatment, regardless of his severe coughs. That same day, in the evening, the health condition of my father in-law has become much worth, and we took him into emergency room (ER) in Tarzana Hospital, where he was diagnosed with pneumonia. A registered nurse in the hospital was very surprised that doctor Stern has not performed X-Ray. She was asking us who was this negligent doctor. Dr Stern specializes in a geriatric population and treats his patients with an infinite amount of patience and caring. My mother in law can be very difficult and he is so kind to her no matter how she behaves. I appreciate that he tries to minimize and/or eliminate unnessary medications and tests.

Life saver, caring, compassionate are just a few words that come to mind. Without Dr Stern my father would not be with us today. His prior doctors wrote him off and Tarzana hospital misdiagnosed him. Dr Stern has such knowledge about geriatrics. He works as a team with many other top specialists in the area
