I can't say I've ever enjoyed a trip to the optometrist until visiting this location. As a business owner, I know the challenges of creating a team that works together so flawlessly in an office environment. Everyone was so warm, welcoming, patient, helpful, thorough, and upbeat. The optometrist spotted an urgent matter with my eye health and immediately linked me to an opthomologist. She explained the issue in great detail and helped me understand how I could best begin to treat it. Elaine did a fantastic job recommending the perfect frame. I highly recommend this business. Incomplete exam. Exorbitant pricing. Do not go there in hopes of getting that wonderful Dr. Dave experience. Dr.Stemley is no longer there.

Since 1994 Dr. Stemley and his AMAZING staff have been our ONLY source of eye care. Always the ultimate professional Dr. Stemley is the optometrist I have recommended to many friends and because you're reading this I will recommend him to you, too. 8/10/2019 Update: Dr. Stemley has retired but the office staff is just as AMAZING and WONDERFUL as ever. Dr. Stemley’s office was awesome enough to give me the brand I wear in my prescription free of charge to get me through the 4th of July weekend. Definitely above and beyond courtesy and service. I just moved here and was searching for a new optometrist. I went to Dr. Stemley because of his high rating, and I am really glad I did! He is excellent, takes his time, and has kept me informed of why he made the changes in my contact prescription that he did. His office staff welcomed me with open arms, and made my transition from Mississippi to San Diego seamless. I highly recommend Dr. Stemley and his staff. Been going to Dr Stemley for all my optometry needs for decades...yes, decades. Eyeglasses, contacts...best care ever! Currently wearing seamless trifocals without issues.

We went here because we were recommended to a specialist from lenscrafters. Dr Stemley has been so great he got my girlfriend fitted with the perfect lenses for her keratoconus. Would definitely recommend for quality and the service we received.
