Very polite staff, explains things well. Easy to understand

I was referred to Dr. Sherman by Aurora Staff after my son's pediatrician, Dr. Rosenberg, retired. After meeting my son one time he apparently determined that my son's personal care hours from his Plan of Care (determined by a seasoned nurse at the personal care facility, over the course of several years) were "excessive" and had the nerve to ask me how many personal care hours he really needs...????. I am a mom who is passionate about my son and his care, and am only interested in him living his best life possible. How dare you, Dr. Sherman? I have fought tooth and nail to get my son the care he needs since he was diagnosed at 2 years old. My son has had over 4 years of ABA therapy, is social/emotional services and is in a Special Education classroom at school. He receives assistance that helps with daily living skills and although he appears "normal" as you stated he, like other autistic children, has some behaviors that you don't automatically see by looking. In addition, each child - autistic or not - is an individual. Dr. Sherman worked in the same office as Dr. Rosenberg for years and they could not be more different people. I would have thought he would have perhaps reviewed my son's file before we came in? I will do him one better and take his advice to see Dr. Sielaff, Dr. Rosenberg's replacement. My son means too much to me to have his future in the hands of someone who either doesn't care or doesn't get it, or both. We have been bringing our children to him for two years and are extremely happy.

We love Dr. Sherman, he is one of the best doctors we have met. Great doctor , great nurses, and office staff. He is always there to answer all your questions, to advise you, and to help you with everything you need! He is very calm and makes you feel very comfortable to discuss anything you need to know! Dr. Sherman is wonderful! He is the second pediatrician I've had, my first one doesn't practice at my location any longer, I like him much better! Highly recommend!

Great ????. He had a wonderful bedside manner. Was nice and very helpful. I would definitely recommend him , only thing is they say he's not taking new patients which sux because He is an awesome doctor.

worst judgemental prick as*hole called my fiancé a liar and refused to take my son as a patient because his mom smelled like "smoke"
