My procedure was quick and relatively painless. Dr. Schneider guided me through the procedure, answering my questions and listening to my concerns. The experience was excellent and I would highly recommend Dr. Schneider.

I have been seeing Dr. Schneider for several years after I discovered I had four slipped discs in my lower back. He had my x-rays and also my CT scans over the years. He has prescribed physical therapy. And has also given me ultrasound guided spinal injections at either Good shepherd hospital or in his specialty area at his office in Barrington. I have found him understanding, patient, and will explain any procedure in depth to me. He listens to my concerns every time I meet with hi. I am pleased with the results we have been able to attain. His entire staff is thorough, pleasant, and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend him!! Beth Marcello

Excellent experience

The fact that this Dr couldn’t help me and my situation is fine. A waste of my time and money, but fine. I can get a 2nd opinion, and will. I reviewed him and thought I was going to be greeted by someone who CARED to help me.What bothered me was the fact he walked into the room and made zero eye contact with me. No “Hi nice to meet you I’m Dr Schneider, what can I help you with?” ( basic manners) He literally walked straight in-and sat at his screen and started talking about what he “didn’t see” . I should have left right then. I’ve seen 3 Drs for different body parts ailments, and can honestly say I am Not impressed with any Dr at IBJI. But you don't know until you know. Now I know. Maybe others will have a different outcome.

I have going to Lake Cook Orthopedic, now IBJI since 1995 for a wide range of issues, They have always helped me and given me good advice and im better for seeing them, ive seen 4 or 5 doctors there over these years, all top notch ???? I hope never to need to go back, but i know if I do im in good hands.

I love to hike, SCUBA dive, and play with my grandsons and granddaughter. I am 55 and I want to be active for as long as possible. 55 is too young to let back pain slow or stop the things I love. When chiropractic care with physical therapy stopped working, I went to see Dr. Schneider. He had a solution that worked. He is informative and caring and best of all, he is helping. Have seen dr Schneider for years and am very confident and have trusted his judgment with his services. Great satisfaction.

Dr. Schneider is definitely one of the best doctors I've ever had. He listens and is very compassionate. Lately it's been hard b/c I think they're very busy at Illinois Bone and Joint and I've not been able to directly see him which seems to create a disconnect and some mistakes. I feel like I can confide in him more than I can my shrink. Lately the prescription "police" have really interfered with doctor's ability to treat people (learned this from my GP). Makes me feel bad for Dr. Schneider and everyone at Illinois Bone and Joint because they had always run a "tight ship" and didn't need any bureaucratic interference. I used to tell them every time that I wish my other doctors' offices modeled their efficiency plan on the then Lake cook Ortho/Now Illinois bone and joint system. I've wondered if this recent interference from the Govt. is what explains the more recent SLIGHT problems with IL Bone and Joint and I'm hoping it's temporary. Very poor experience with Dr David Schneider, or I should just say his office, since I never actually met him. Was referred to him from an Ortho doc, who had taken xrays of my spine & went over them with me & said my back looked terrible. Waited 3 weeks for my appt that was scheduled with Dr Schneider. Got into the exam room, his nurse comes in & said she would get the appt started. Did a super quick exam & proceeds to spend the rest of the appt on her computer typing notes. She ordered a ct scan and she ends the appt. I asked if Dr Schneider would come in & she said no. What poor communication to the patient. I was not happy, I had an expectation to see the dr, not a nurse. His nurse told me nothing that I didn’t already know. This appt was a waste for me, they still charged it as an appt with Dr Schneider. The ct scan should have been done during the 3 weeks I waited & everything gone over with the Dr and this appt. Not very respectful of the patient.

My last visit with Dr Schneider was very good, he was very polite and kind and explained me about the problems that I have with the pain in my back. In general the visit was positive.

I love how everything is all in one place. When I had my MRI the receptionist went to bat for me because my insurance dropped the ball. She made sure they gave the approvals even when they never called her back. Everyone there very friendly. Dr. Schneider made me feel comfortable which is good! Was kind and professional!!

Dr. Schneider is the most personable and kind orthopedic physician I have ever had. He not only takes time sharing his opinion but provides best recommendations for treatment always with any f/u concern. He has done two injection procedures for me in my lower spine with excellent results. However for me he and his staff are difficult to reach due to the fact I have an unlisted number so after reaching the appointment desk, the options of the call center forwarding system to his office or his nurse will not connect my call because I have an unlisted number. It tells me to “unblock my phone and call back” then it disconnects me. Sometimes it takes 5 calls or more leaving messages having to ask the appointment desk to send a message to his office to ‘return my call’ before I can actually connect with anyone in his office. Over the years as my wife and I have been not so gracefully aging, we've encountered some of the inevitable wear-and-tear problems. Most of the joy has centered on the spine, hip, knee and shoulder. Doctor Schneider has always been our go to for initial assessment and hopefully resolution. He is a master of the needle and indeed I have walked into his office in a very significant degree of discomfort and walked out pain free thanks to his precise injections! They have all the right diagnostic equipment and know what they are doing! My wife had a hip replacement last year done by one of Dr. Schneider's colleagues and it turned out magnificently! In short, we have been extremely pleased with the successful medical services provided by Dr. Schneider and the other doctors and staff at the Lake Barrington office! Highly recommend. Terrible. This Doctor has a god complex and doesn’t see the need to allay any patient fears about procedure. Very cocky! He was annoyed that I asked him 2 questions. I left, without procedure!

Visit was for EMG of my neck. I asked if he would first review an Xray of my lower back, which he did. However because he spent between 10 and 13 minutes discussing/reviewing my lower back problem, he then said there wasn't enough time to do the EMG and that I would have to schedule another appointment.
