I left his practice. Too old, abrupt, not up to par with current practices.

All I did was call to see the insurance they take and the lady who answered the phone was so rude! I had to hang up on her.

He may be a good doctor but a terrible bed side manner and really direspectful

I am a new patient of Dr. Saltzman. I first met him in hospital over 17 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised he had a recollection of it. His interest in extending the best care to me is refreshing; even with a disappointing experience with specialist he's known for decades, he made sure a referral was issued promptly to another provider and my record also sent to another treater for an opinion. Dr. Saltzman became my Pulmonary Specialist in 2008. In 2015 my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. Dr. Saltzman then became her Pulmonologist and treated her with kindness, dignity and respect. He is a wonderful doctor. They don't make doctors like him anymore and I'm grateful to have found him.

Dr. Saltzman is one of the best doctors on planet Earth. He was my doctor for over 20 years until a change in insurance forced me to seek another physician. Thorough, knowledgeable, caring and professional are just a few of the words that I would use to describe him. The office staff, his assistant Vicki and the entire office were all first class. When my mom was visiting before her demise, Dr. Saltzman saw her and treated her with the utmost care. When necessary, I was referred to the best specialists. I don’t know how much longer he is going to practice but if you can get him, your care will be in good hands. Thank you, Dr. Saltzman, for treating me as if I was the only patient that you had. Dr Saltzman saved my life on multiple occasions too many. He is caring and knowledgeable. He tells it like it is ! Would never go out anyone else

Words cannot express how rare Dr. Saltzman is as an internist, and above all an individual. Patient, professional, proactive, upfront and beyond brilliant are just a few words to describe any encounter you may have with this doctor and his entire office staff. Dr. Saltzman is a true gift to the medical profession and anyone who has the fortune of being his patient. I'm leaving his practice. Trying to get a referral is virtually impossible. I have to call Oddness his referral coordinator at least ten times to get one. The last straw was when I surgery two different times and had to contact her supervisor the day before the follow up appointment because after a two weeks of request the referral had still not been fulfilled and no call as to why. If you are required to see specialist, RUN, don't walk away from this practice.
