Dr. David George Rutz

Dr. Rutz and his PAs have been a part of my medical care for around 20 years. His care has been exemplary and the care from his PAs has been very good. I highly recommend East Lincoln Family.

This is the worst dr. Office i have ever been too. I have insurance and pay out of pocket. My initial appointment charge was 225 so i assumed the blood work being done was included. NO it was another 320 dollars. That i am now responsible for paying when it was never made clear that it was going to be billed to me. They have sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy and have hung up on me while i was talking to them. The worst doctor office ive ever dealt with. This is the worst dr. Very disappointed just tried to reach out to this provider, for a prescription for an over the counter medication. I was advised that per my children’s Medicaid they are eligible for $25 a month of OTC prescriptions. They told me to buy an offbrand because they would not write a prescription. I have been treated with respect and dignity by everyone in this office. I have never enjoyed a doctor and office experience more. Thank you Dr. Rutz and staff.

If you want a doctor who genuinely cares about you and who listens to you, there is no better doctor than Dr. Rutz. His staff are always pleasant and professional. Dr Rutz and staff are hands down by far the best. 5 stars.

Dr. Rutz is truly an awesome doctor. I can not speak for other patients but he is passionate about his work and actually cares. If it wasn't for everything that he has done wich is more than I can put here I wouldn't be where I'm at now in life. I have come a long way and each day I am growing physically, financially, and emotionally. All due to this amazing doctor. I haven't met another doctor who actually cares and isn't judgemental what so ever I am a recovering addict and I am in the suboxone program. At first I was worried about being judged and looked down upon because of the help I was seeking. But that is the opposite of what I found. If you are ready to take that BIG long HARD step I would totally recommend Dr. David Rutz. Dr. Rutz is truly an awesome doctor. I am 65 yrs. old, had 2 kids (now 26 & 30) and myself, my wife and kids received as good of care as I have ever had in my life. And that goes esp. to Dr. Rutz for his skills and demeanor, but also all of his P.A.'s, nurses and support staff. I cannot imagine a family medical practice that is better overall than ELF (East Lincoln Family Health) and I would encourage others to meet with them if they are looking for a regular health care provider. Love that this practice is almost entirely female. They have always been great!!

My husband & I have gone to Dr. Rutz for a very long time. We are very pleased with his service & friendship. He is very knowledgeable & kind. He has kept my husbands diabetes under control. Reception Staff rude and unprofessional, a practice in it for the money not care. PA's wonderful, but not worth the hassle dealing with Rutz and his office staff.Had gone there for years and Rutz was has never had the the same nurses and Med Techs twice. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Rutz for years now. My husband and I have 4 children. We went to another family practice and were not happy with the drs bed side manner and his refusal to treat our child for asthma. I took her to see Dr. Rutz one time he was so nice and patient. Our last dr. would run out of the room after 3 mins. He was always in a rush. I felt like Dr. Rutz was more than willing to take time to listen to what I was saying. I didnt even mention asthma to him and at the end of the appointment he asked me if she had ever been treated. I asked him why he would ask that? He told me that she has an asthmatic cough. He referred her to a lung specialist and we got the problem under control!! I have read the other two comments and completely disagree with the review on staff. Liz the only receptionist i have ever seen work there is extremely sweet and will go to great lengths to get you scheduled. The kids fav PA is Kristen and she does so well. My son Nathaniel is in LOVE!! other than that the nurses are nice and a couple of them do change every so often but I have seen that at other drs offices as well. The main nurses have stayed the same! We are very satisfied and have moved to the north side of town and we still drive all the way to the other side to go to this office than to go anywhere else!
