I am more than happy with the surgery, the staff, the pre-surgery care the post surgery care, and Dr. Rodriguez is without a doubt one of the most talented surgeons that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I’ve had multiple. I 100% wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Rodriguez and his staff to take care of any Orthopedic needs.

Wow! Dr Rodriguez…absolutely amazing…and for so many reasons! I’m a 53 y/o avid cyclist that had what could be considered an 80 year old’s knee. I was desperately searching for the answer to my every day pain. I had done it all, including strengthening and stretching, injections and oral anti-inflammatories for years…and I was done! Being in the medical field for over 25 years, I knew “all the docs” and work with many of them. I chose Dr Rodriguez because several of my cycling buddies highly recommended him, I could not have gotten luckier! I met with him and he openly shared all of his thoughts and recommendations on having a TKA at my “young” age. He was caring, he was candid and he made me feel comfortable about a very important decision in my life, I can not thank him enough..I finally wrapped my head around it and scheduled the surgery. My two main concerns were infection rate and when I could be back on my road bike, he answered both questions to my satisfaction. I had the procedure (I chose the robotic route-MAKO procedure) done first thing Monday, April 25th and was home the same day by 4pm. I was back riding my mountain bike, without clips, around my paved neighborhood in 2 and 1/2 weeks and I was back on my road bike completing 55 miles with NO knee pain at a great pace, 5 weeks and 5 days post op! It is a great pleasure to be able to share my story but the star of all of this is the complete rounded care that I received from Dr David Rodriguez-Quintana and his staff! First time with this Dr. I had to wait for more than an hour. No one comes to tell you if the Dr is running late or so. I had to cancel my visit because I was asked to wait for extra 30min when I asked why it is taking so long. There should be some respect to people's time. I do not have an open agenda. Dr. Rodriguez is the most compassionate doctor I have ever met. With over 18 prior joint repairs by other ortho doctors, he without any doubt has been the best. He recently repaired my knee replacement.

I recently had a fractured patella. I was in ER and the staff gave me his name as I was in need of surgery. Not having the time or desire to meet 2 or 3 surgeons to determine if they were "good", i scheduled appointment w/ Dr. Rodriquez. Best thing of 2020! He explained the surgery needed, the entire procedure, answered all of our questions. Day of surgery, he met with me prior to going into OR. Answered further questions. After surgery, he called me personally to check on me, asked about pain, took care of needed medications. This surgeon is honest, direct, thorough, and caring. Dr. Rodriguez Quintana and his physicians assistant, Taylor are phenomenal. The care, attention, and respect I was shown before, during, and after my procedure was simply top notch. Both were available to me via their personal cellular phones 7 days a week. Dr. Rodriquez not only operated on me when others wouldn’t, he gave me back the ability to walk. Last week I had my second knee replacement with Dr david rodriguez Quintana.. My first replacement was last year. It took 2 years to convince myself to do it.. I was scared and my wonderful doctor just kept telling me I will know when I was ready.. Finally the pain was unbearable and had it done.. Of course the recovery was painful but bearable. Dr rodriguez and his staff were so supportive and always making sure I happy with my progress.... On September 3rd I had partial right knee replacement. The first doctor recommend by my doctor was not Dr Quintana. My knee was very painful so I tried getting into see the recommended doctor was difficult. I did get to see the PA and he was good but I was still in pain. Finally I called and ask to see another doc and I was given Dr Quintana. Long story short he has been a blessing, his staff are great. They take the time listening to the me, the patients every need. The help you understand where you are in the healing process. I could go on with this but I will cut it short, Dr. Quintana and his staff care about you, THEY ARE ALL A BLESSING. On 8/24, i had a hip replacement done by Dr. Rodriguez Quintana and I don’t have enough words to thank him and his entire staff for everything they did. Dr. Rodriguez Quintana is amazing and so is his staff. Just to name a few Vanessa, Kelly, Ashley, Magda, and I am forgetting some (sorry) were amazing. They answered any questions before and after my surgery and they make you feel that they truly care about you as a patient. I had lived with extreme varus for around 40 years in both knees, to say that I was bow legged would have been an understatement! Dr. Rodriguez performed total knee replacement surgery on both knees in one month and I haven't been this pain free since I was a child! He really cares about his patients and their quality of life. I recommend him to anyone who wants the best surgeon to take care of them! Dr David Rodriguez is an angel to his patients. Never seen a Dr who goes out of his ways to help his patients. As a patient I wish I could give this Doctor a 10 star rating. After a terrible car accident took my knee out, he had his work cut out for him. A long line of doctors doing surgeries and referring me on up the line because they or the hospital they were with felt they could not handle the next knee surgery, I hit the jack pot! After 16 surgeries (not all on my knee) I was sent to Dr. Rodríguez. One of the best things to ever happen to me. I made the man work! I even broke my ankle, fell, reopened my knee and burst out all the work he had done about 4 weeks before. He not only had to fix my ankle, he had to redo my knee. He did it with a smile and total confidence in himself. He made me feel he cared about me as a person, and after 5 years of in and out of hospitals and oh so many doctors, well, that feeling is pure gold. So I am sitting here with a knee that I can stand on, raise the lower part of my leg up ,and can see the light at the end of this tunnel. I am on my way to walking. Dr. Rodriguez and staff were extremely professional and have the greatest care for their patients. He is probably one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the country; he is trained well and willing to take on difficult and complex cases such as myself... thanks to him I no longer have any knee pain and I have extension and flexion beyond what I ever thought possible and I’m only one month post op. It all started with a serious motorcycle accident 2+ years ago, a couple of reconstructive surgeries and then Dr. Rodriguez did a replacement where most surgeons would’ve not taken this case. Dr. Rodriguez is one of the most detail oriented doctors that I've ever met. He takes a personal interest in each individual case that is refreshing in that he cares about the outcome, not just the short term, but the long-term progress of each of his patients. Many people think they have the best doctor, but I didn't know the best until I had met Dr. Rodriguez. He is extremely competent, detail oriented and personable all in one package. Saw the doc at the UTPhysicians Orthopaedics in Katy. The office is effective and efficient. The front desk ladies were professional and friendly—always a sign that things are good when the staff seems to be happy to be at work! I was scheduled promptly (even worked in to a full day at the last minute), I was seen promptly and Dr R-Q is knowledgeable and pleasant. Very easy to talk to. He didn’t jump right to extreme treatments which I appreciate and gave clear information about all the future possibilities. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend. My Dad had knee replacement by another doctor. A year later he developed an infection in that knee. We were referred to Dr. David Rodriguez-Quintana. What a blessing. He is one of the best doctors I have ever used. His attention to detail is superb. He actually cares about his patients. You are not just another number!
