Dr Ritzow was very informative with my questions. Looking forward to my surgery.

Dr. Ritzow is a very caring and professional physician. He listened carefully to my health issues, and what I had previously done to try and remedy the problem on my own. After looking over my X-rays, he was able to explain the current situation with my knees and suggested a few options open to me. I did not feel rushed in any way, and the course of action was thoroughly explained to me. I would recommend Dr. Ritzow to anyone needing an orthopedic doctor/surgeon!

We wish more of our healthcare providers were like Dr. Ritzow. He takes time to explain the diagnosis and the various treatment options. He never seems to be in a rush.

Excellent, very understanding surgeon. Took time to understand my concerns, gave thorough explanation of cause or causes pertinent to my issue, and then detailed corrective (surgical) procedures/recovery time if I chose to take further action.

Best Ever Orthopedic Doctor. I have seen a lot. He is so personable, but very thorough in explaining all options and in a way I can understand. His demeanor in all situations is spot on. His surgery outcomes are the best I have ever experienced. I am doing more than I should be able to because of his surgical ability. I have recommended Dr. Ritzow to many of my friends and family and their experience has been the same as mine.

Dr. Ritzow was very helpful and offered two options to try prior to deciding on the possibility of surgery. I never feel rushed during my appointment and he takes the time to answer my questions to assure I fully understand what is going on. We have done 6 prior surgeries together and I have complete trust in his knowledge and abilities

Dr. Ritzow provided me up front honest assessment of my situation with guidance on my options for addressing my concerns. I appreciated his professionalism.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Ritzow since 2007 when I had a total knee replacement. He is a knowledgeable, caring and personable doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr David Ritzow actually is completely present during your visit with him. From my personal experience, Dr Ritzow consistently conveyed a caring, courteous, and sincere demeanor. This not only made me feel more comfortable with the overall treatment process but also made me feel increasingly confident that my orthopedic care was in good hands. I felt completely heard during this entire visit…and the educational communication element provided a type of trust that usually takes much longer with doctors (if even ever achieved at all). I would have absolute zero hesitation in recommending anyone to this clinic - and especially Dr. Ritzow. An immediate family member is strongly considering Switching providers simply from the feedback and the results I have had with this doctor! Friendly knowledge staff excellent doctor.

Dr Ritzow is the best you will find. He and Kelsey actual care about their patients and will talk to you vs other drs I find where your just a number

I have been very happy with Dr Ritzow and his staff throughout my total knee replacement procedure. They have been very helpful with answering any questions that came up before and after the procedure. I especially liked the informational texts that came from Dr Ritzow on a regular basis. Advanced Physical Therapy has been very helpful with my therapy after surgery. I have been working with Bill and Kaiti twice a week since surgery. I have a ways to go because of lingering swelling around my knee. Looking forward to to a full recovery so I can get back to golf, Pickleball and bike riding. I am told I just need to be patient. Did not push for surgery, encouraging me to try to strength it

Dr. Ritzow clearly explained my knee issues and described my options. He was easy to talk to and really listened to my concerns and thoughts.

Dr. Ritzow has performed 5 surgeries on me and the results have all been outstanding. The surgeries ranged ftom knee scope, partial knee replacement, torn rotator cuff surgeries on each arm and total knee replacement. I would not hesitate to see Dr Ritzow again. Very knowledgeable , listens and answers all your concerns.

I enjoyed working with Dr Ritzow and Kim before, during, and after my hip replacement. They were very supportive and the texts kept me inspired. Left to myself I would have over done it. They kept me reeled in. Thank you! Seven weeks out from surgery and I’m doing great!

Dr. Ritzow was great! I had total knee replacement surgery. I was in alot of pain before the surgery and now it's gone. My quality of life has improved so much and I thank him for that! I would certainly recommend him!

Dr. Ritzow is an amazing surgeon with a lot of experience and compassion. He saved my career and my life. I was in so much pain and he performed arthroscopic shoulder surgery on my right shoulder. He did a very good job. My arm has never felt so strong and pain free before. I just had him do the same surgery to my left arm and he did a wonderful job on that one too. Dr . Ritzow did both of my new hip replacement and never had a problem,he's very caring and takes his time with you and answers all questions.

I was very pleased with the care I received from Dr Ritzow today and would go back to him for anything anytime. I had surgery by him years ago and it went very well 10-4-20

Had a appointment today with Dr. Ritzow today and I was not impressed. I waited an hour in the room and had to go look for someone because they forgot about me. He came in and never apologized sat down and basically told me I wasn’t a good candidate for hip replacement surgery because I was to over weight. He scanned over my X-ray briefly and never looked at my MRI and told me to get a cane and use aleve. I told him I could barely walk and using aleve barely made a difference. I know two over weight people who have had this surgery and they were never told to use weight. I’m very disappointed, I was hoping for help and never received any. I believe he discriminates against over weight people and advise to find a different doctor.

Short, not so sweet, and missed the Boat. I have been in hip pain since July 23, 2019. I was examined by the doctor, if you want to call it that, and had an MRI done of my hip. Results, I was told that I wasn't a candidate for surgery so go see if someone else can help you. Fast forward 4 months later after spending thousands of dollars on alternative treatment, I am scheduled to have my hip replaced as I am bone on bone. Don't waste your time with this guy.

Dr. Ritzow replaced both my knees. One done in 2007, and the other in 2009. I can tell that I have never been more pleased with the results. He did the surgery when other doctors said no. To him it was about the quality of my life. He was caring and showed great compassion in my condition. He did say that rehab after a total knee replacement can and will be a painful treatment, but once you regain total motion of your knee joint, it would be like your knee was yours and not a replacement. He was exactly right. Here in 2020, my knees still feel great with no issues whatsoever. Dr. Ritzow and Kim are fantastic providers, and I highly recommend them.

I agree with others, although Dr Ritzow is skilled he has developed a God Syndrome over the years. He sets unrealistic post-op requirements that cannot be met due to join pain that limits activities. Also there is no follow up after appointments despite the commitment to do so. He forces patients to seek other well qualified surgeons for treatment.

Would never return to or recommend this surgeon or facility. My experience from beginning to end was riddled with poor care and errors in care. The last straw was the 8 week post surgical visit for which I stated I was in more pain that had become chronic, and the only care/advice was to follow up in a month. A second opinion brought about an immediate ultrasound and CT scan to check tendons & cartilage (due to the type of injury), a diagnosis and treatment to correct the issues. I went into the emergency room 6-18-18 for a shoulder injury which the pain was to the point where it hurt to breathe. They prescribed hydrocodone for pain that got me through until I could be seen by a "specialist". I was seen by Dr. Ritzow a week later after a MRI where we determined that surgery was the best option for my situation. After being seen by him he prescribed tramadol for pain which didn't help. I asked twice to be put back on the hydrocone which worked. I was denied that request so I took the tramadol as prescribed by him which was 1 every 6hrs. The prescription is now gone. Im 16 days out from surgery and he will not refill my prescription because I was just today notified that it was supposed to be used sparingly and not once every 6hrs as he prescribed on bottle. This whole experience has been a headache from the start. I wouldn't recommend this facility. Hand to shoulder orthopedics is a better option. I would expect a surgeon to do simple math with what he prescribed that it wouldn't last or actually informed me to use the medication "sparingly" and not as prescribed by him. Over the past 10 years, I've seen Dr Ritzow for a torn rotator cuff, broken hand and broken ankle. Each time, Dr. Ritzow was thorough, precise, timely and expert. The injuries healed great. He is very careful not to overprescribe narcotic pain meds - which I really appreciated. Too many prescriptions are written by some physicians who give them unnecessarily. Would never go back to or recommend this surgeon or this so called "state of the art" orthopedic facility. From beginning to end, my experience was riddled with poor care and errors. I was not provided with any home assistancce, equipment, or offered to use their recovery facility (until a week after surgery when I complained about it), poor choice of hardware for my size, boot just "put on" - not fitted, which caused an increase of pain that became chronic, and an 8 week post surgical follow up

I have been a patient of Dr. Ritzow for about 10 years. he has performed 6 surgeries on me, one of which was to fix a rotator cuff repair that another surgeon botched. The only negative I have is the wait time. Everything else is positive -- Dr. Ritzow, Kim his APNP, Liz his medical assistant, the clerical and insurance/surgery staff all are friendly and patient-focused. Dr. Ritzow is patient and kind and has great surgical skills. He explains things in a down to earth way and listens!

Would never recomment Dr. Ritzow. He is arrogant, rude and every appointment I had at least a 20-30 minute wait once I was in the exam room not including waiting room They double booked and have two patients booked for the same time slot. In my opinion he does not care.
