Very condescending. Both Dr. and nurse were unwilling to treat, test or prescribe. Told me my insurance will only give them pennies for the treatments needed. Suggested I seek out a different physician. Actually said 'I do not want to be the physician of record for any prescription'. Pointless visit!

I can agree with both the positive and less positive reviews. The office is well run, and the staff and nurses are exceptional. Both providers are very intelligent and resourceful. I think improvement could be made especially regarding pediatric care. Talking TO the child as the actual patient rather than just about the child is critical ("How do you think your asthma is?," "Ok, now I'm going to talk to Dad a bit --it's great to see you!"). It establishes value even to kids as young as 4, helps them learn about their own care, and puts them at ease. Overall bedside manner to kids could be improved, looking at the whole child. I also look for providers who involve parents as "partners" rather than recipients with a"I'm going to do this"mentality. Finally, there needs to clarification on when to see the PCP vs. this office. I was once told in front of my asthmatic child (who had decreased oxygen and cough) that I should have gone to her PCP. This was wrong, medically and interpersonally.

While Tracy Donahue is awesome I personally can't say all their staff is. Several of them could use a course in manners & how to professionally treat others. Look elsewhere for your allergy/asthma needs.

Dr. Patterson and his staff are fantastic. Everyone was very nice and welcoming and took the time to answer my questions. The exam was very thorough, and Dr. Patterson concluded that my problem was not allergy-related, and made an excellent referral for me. I would highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Patterson is an excellent physician. He has improved my quality of life tremendously by diagnosing and setting up a treatment plan for me.

The office called to verify my insurance information. I called five hours before my appointment to provide the info and was told they cancelled the appointment since I did not call back earlier. I have worked with insurance and have taken insurance info when people walk in the door. It does not take long to verify benefits. I have never heard of a doctor or dentist cancelling an appointment if insurance info is not provided before the appointment. I waited over a month for this appointment and took off work. This is very poor customer service.

Well, I am happy that other people have better experience. For me I feel so upset.I wited for the appointment for more that a month then I went to this clinic. I talked so much to the nurse then Dr Patterson came. I explained to him that I have sinus pressure which is very annoying and snoring problem. Some therapists said that this sinus problem is may be affecting the pain in my neck. I asked him if I need ct scan for my sinus or sleep apnea test. He refused to do anything for me and didn't even tell me to get a follow up appointment and said go to neurologist to check your neck. Well, I am happy that other people have better experience. I CAN NOT say enough good things about this DR. as well as his staff and even the receptionists! I have been in severe pain and and so uncomfortable for over a year. I’ve had to bounce DRs specializing in anything from family medicine to oncology, and rheumatology. Going in to his office I was frustrated I was sent there because I knew it wasnt allergy related . Everyone had bounced me around and wouldn’t take the time of day to help me figure things out. He ended up being the ONLY doctor to take the time to not only listen to me, but look me over think outside of the box and take into consideration how I was feeling all around . Out of EVERYONE I’ve seen, this man is hands down the BEST I’ve ever seen! I highly suggest him to anyone. Hands-down the best doctor I’ve ever had. After more than 20 years of chronic illnesses, surgeries and incorrect diagnoses, I found Dr. Patterson. His care literally saved my life. I wish I had time to tell my story or a way to show before and after pictures, because I would. I thought I was going to see him for allergies, but because he really listens to you as a patient, we began a journey that changed my life. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Patterson. Dr. Patterson is a fantastic doctor - one of the best I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen many throughout my life! He’s both knowledge AND compassionate. He takes the time to actually listen to his patient and genuinely cares about finding the best solution for the problem - even if it means referring you to a different doctor! Dr. Patterson has been a lifesaver for me and my daughter! We both have complicated health issues that we have had to seek help in 2 states for. Dr. Patterson was able to help us when an army of doctors weren’t able to. He listened, he researched and used his experience and intelligence. He has a way of taking a very complicated picture and narrowing it down to where the problems are. His perfectionism is what makes him top notch and gives the patient a correct diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Patterson is excellent. He does an exceptional job of using extensive education and clinical experience is a very caring and personable manner. He chose not to order unnecessary tests for my daughter (thank you!) and let both of us know that he is available via email should patients have questions. His staff was also very helpful. All in all a professional team and highly recommended.

Zero chance of recommending this doctor. Ever. I have never met a more uncaring, brush-you-off doctor in my entire life. If you just want some tests to be run with no doctor interaction, then he is your guy. If not, I suggest you go somewhere else.

I totally recommend this doctor. My son is suffering with upper respiratory problems. He took personal care, explained the issues to us and also co-ordinated and discussed issues with my ENT and primary care pediatrician. The best part is he takes complete interest and personally calls the other doctors discuss with them the patient's status, which is unlike other doctors who assigns tasks to their nurses. Being a specialist he takes utmost care of his patients. Over-all, extra-ordinary service

I would recommend him to anyone. When I met him, I could tell from the way he listened to me and the way he explained my asthma to me that he was a smart doctor. He is on top of researching medications to find the best for his patients. There is a clear reason he has been mentioned in many Top Doctor magazines. He is good.

The staff was very efficient, the room and instruments prepared . Dr. Patterson explained everything and seemed to take an interest in me as a person.

Dr. Patterson is simply the best!! He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He has a genuine concern for his patients. His caring goes above and beyond any physician we have come across. On multiple occasions he took time out of his busy schedule to call and check on how our daughter was doing. Our daughter needed surgery and Dr. Patterson spent a considerable amount of time reaching out to colleagues to ensure that our daughter received the best care. I would drive any distance to see him.

Extremely knowledgeable and thorough!

They used the wrong sample dish for a test. This made the sample usless. They are more interested in the bill being paid than they are with patient care. The secretary was very rude about paying for that day's bill when all my other bills had been paid. I am seeing a different allergist and am satisfied with their care.
