Dr. David A Oneill

By far the best general care and family care doctor i have ever come across. Period. Bed side manor is incredible and you are actually listened too. His knowledge and level of care are on another level! Thank you!

I started seeing Dr Brian ONeill 47 years ago and now I see Dr David. I probably have been seeing him 20+ years. In my opinion you won’t find a more caring, knowledgeable doctor anywhere. I love Dr. David!

I have been seeing Dr. David for over 15 years and find him to be highly competent with a great bedside manner. He never fails to take time to do his job effectively while never making me feel like he is in a hurry to get on to the next patient. Each patient is equally important to him. Great diagnostic skills and he is very thorough.

Very good doctor. He listens to what you're saying and gives sound advice.

There's one in the office upon leaving seems unfriendly but that's her problem

Dr . David O’Neill is personable, extremely competent and well qualified in dealing with his patients. He has a down to earth approach and I would highly recommend him To anyone looking for a good primary care physician.

I have been going to Dr. Dave for more than 20 years. He listens to my input and answers questions. He does not rush through an appointment and yet does not waste time. He is conservative in his approach and at same time proactive to find out what is happening with you.

Have been with both the Dr's Oneill for over 40 years. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and their compassion.

I have been a patient of both father and son. Excellent doctors! They actually take time to discuss issues, And to get to know who you are, not just your symptoms. Very hard to find a doctor that will do that today. Have been a patient for over 25 years.

My husband and I really like Dr. O'Neill, we've been going to him for 15 years. Last year Memorial Hosp didn't sign with my insurance that I carried and my husband and I had to go to SLUCare in St. Louis, and did not care for the doctors that were assigned to us. The following year I changed insurance companies so I could go back to Dr. O'Neill

My experience over the last 15+ years is he answers all my questions, and he finds solutions to my health issues.

The best Doctors in the Belleville area

Dr. David saved my life! No joke! He and his staff are consistantly on top of everything! My health seemed to be declining over this past year and they were and still are with me every step of the way! The moment I get blood work, it seems, an hour later I'm getting a call from one of the girls with details and instructions. On one particular test, I was worried about the outcome and "Jenny" called asap and got the results so that I wouldn't stress over the weekend! I have been a patient of Drs. David and Brian O'Neill for years, most recently I see David more often. I cannot say enough good things about these caring and competent gentlemen and their staff. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 and Drs. O'Neill and their staff came to the rescue to immediately get my records and tests done and sent to the cancer facility in Texas where I treated. Dr O'Neill and his office staff are excellent. I always get my questions answered. Dr. O'Neill's bedside manor is great. I would recommend every I know to Dr David. When he says call if there's a problem, he means it.

Dr. Dave is awesome. He actually gives medicine when you don't feel well. They alway get you in when you are sick. They staff is always friendly.

Dr. David is a wonderful physician and always seems caring for my wellness. Also has great chairside manner. Both physicians are great and highly recommend them.

Do NOT go see this doctor if you have any other choice. I used his services in Nov and it is now Feb. I have recieved multiple bills for different services each month and they are still turning in services one by one to my insurance company. My insurance covers an annual wellness visit at no cost. So I was surprised when I received a bill for 75$ after my annual visit. When I questioned this charge, I was told it was a charge for neck pain. During the wellness check up, the doctor asked if I had anything else going on. I mentioned I had some neck pain occasionally. The doctor touched my neck for several seconds and said that it was something muscular. That was the extent of our neck conversation and then proceeded with the rest of the wellness visit. I have discussed this charge with the office manager several times, to no avail. I had seen other physicians and if the Dr. asks a question and I answer I haven't been charged. I don't think that our brief minute conversation constitutes a $75 charge for his question.. I also work in the medical field and was appalled by this unfair charge. In our office this would never be allowed. I have also spoken to numerous other people to see if this is a common practice, but everyone else also seems appalled at this behavior. The likelihood that I would recommend Dr. David O'Neill is extremely high. What prohibits me from selecting 5 stars is the absurdity that his office doesn't have call waiting or the option to leave a message. I'm grateful I've never had an emergency where I needed to speak to someone in his office. 99% of the time, when you call the office, you will get a busy signal. It is infuriating.
