Dr. Notrica treated my son David 9 years ago at Phoenix Child Level 1 trauma emergecy after a pitbull attacked him and severed his jugular vein and right buttock severely. It was something so traumatic, but thankfully he's a strong little man. Just like Dr. Notrica said 9 years ago my son feels he defeated a pitbull and jokes he has pitbull blood and that is why he is so strong. We would like to thank you doctor for everything you did! I thought I was going to loose my son that day. I highly recommend Dr. Notrica. He is professional, charismatic, caring, and in my opinion the best surgeon in the world. My sons case was very delicate and he had the skills necessary to prevent his death. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! Great doctor. Nice guy. Unfortunately the staff who suppors him there is impossible to get in touch with. I've tried calling... No answers. Left many messages. No return calls. I've sent linkedin messages to them. Nothing. No return messages or calls or emails. I've emailed. No response. I've even called the surgical emergency line they give after surgery. They couldn't get in touch with the team and said someone would call me back within an hour. Did this twice. No response at all. It's been over 2 weeks. I've had to move all post surgical treatment to another practice and I'll have the pectus bars removed in Virginia (other set of experts) when the time comes. Again, I'm happy with the outcome of the surgery so far and I was REALLY happy with the level of care at Phoenix Children's Hospital (Nursing staff there was amazing) but the coordinators and support people with this doctor give zero help. If you don't get good communication up front, it only gets worse. FYI

I wouldn’t let just any surgeon do the pectus repair my son needed. I searched out the best & we are very pleased with the results thus far.
