I’ve had 2 cataract surgeries, one with another doctor, Dr U, and one with Dr Mills. My experience with Dr Mills was far inferior. He charged far more. I waited far longer for my 3 appointments. One exam with less than 5 minute with Dr Mills where he convinced me to get a new advanced lens by Johnson and Johnson. The lens never worked as promised. My othe lens from Dr U ($900 vs Dr Mills $2300 total)was less than half the price but is much clearer (20/25 vision with Dr U; 20/40 with Dr Mills). Here’s a few other comparisons: You stay awake but no pain with Dr U You are asleep with with Dr Mills (with all after effects of analgesia) You see Dr U 2 times before surgery (exam then measurement), during surgery, call that night after surgery, following day after surgery and followed up after surgery. You see Dr Mills 1 time total. 5 minutes to convince you to buy his services, and NEVER again (not before, during or after ever). He sends you to an ophthalmologist for follow up care.

He did my cataract surgery and did an excellent job. It's two days and I'm seeing 20/20. Very sweet and caring staff.

Dr. Mills went into detail on why I should wait on my cataract surgery. He made sure that I understood everything he was explaining to me. That let me know he was concerned about me and my health and not just the dollar. Thank you Dr. Mills
