Cancels appointments more times than not!

For those that don't know, it seems Dr Mieles has closed his practice and they are actively seeking a new psychiatrist to take his place. There is no access to patient files or prescription history. Looks like we are starting over somewhere else.

Good listener, good advisor. Compassionate. Awesome ????

Dr. Mieles is a wonderful doctor who genuinely cares about your wellbeing. There is a reason why so many of his dedicated patients do not mind the occasional wait that it takes to see him. He will make sure you feel comfortable with your treatment and will even go the extra mile to go make sure it is the best possible therapy. He even offered cytochrome P450 testing to make sure I am appropriately metabolizing the medications to avoid potential over/under dosing. He is the best!

Dr. Mieles is very helpful. I have a serious behavior issue, and he listened to me, and gave me great feedback.

Dr. Mieles and Bonnie have picked me up where I have fallen many times and I can only be thankful for a group that has never made me feel like a number.

Most appointments are cancelled. Week after week he cancels. If he shows you WILL wait over two hours. If you want to know what he will prescribe just know what the pill pusher drug rep gave him samples of

Terrible patient care. Repeatedly canceled appointments, appointments were "lost" or I was called within 10 mins of my appointment time just to be told he would not be in. He's a good Dr but getting in to actually see him is a nightmare. I've gone 4 months and had 7 appointments cancelled in that time with no concern to the fact that I stated this had become an emergency situation. When asking the staff if there was anyone they could refer me to in the mean time, they were not able to help at all. Understanding and caring when you do see him but you always feel rushed out of his office after waiting sometimes up to 4 hours for your obviously LATE appointment. I feel he is a good person but his work ethic s & commitment to patient care are severely lacking. Terrible patient care. Terribly inconsistent on appointments. He has cancelled 6 appointments with me for 4 months in a row, even when you call and express that this is an emergency situation. The nursing/support staff never know when he's going to be in and when asking to be referred to another dr for help they have no other resources. At one point, he went out of the country and they didn't bother to cancel my appointment, others Ive been 10 mins from the appointment when it was cancelled.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mieles since 2009. My daughter been going to him since 2010. I started seeing Bonnie along with my two daughters since 2010. They both have been the best to me, and my family. He got me taking the right medications. Also, he spends quality time with his patients. He listens, give advice, take notes, write a prescriptions, and he's very intelligent. Bonnie has been a very important tool in holding my family together. They're perfect professionals. I'm sad to see that it
