Dr. David E Mccarty

Dr. David McCarty is a down-to-earth amiable physician who is primarily employed with the Boulder, Colorado Sleep Lab. He is professional, easy-going, and very knowledgeable.

Professional, very knowledgeable, on-time, very thorough, and very good rapport. Colorado is very lucky to have Dr McCarty there to help so many with their sleep apnea and altitude issues as well. I travel 18 total hours from my home to see him and do it willingly.

It’s unfortunate that the business practices of this company are enough for calling poor because the doctors here are excellent. I was indeed late to the appointment my scheduled appointment and I did call before hand. I spoke with Ion (sp?) who said that I had a 15 minute window. When I got there they told me it was a 10 minute window and would not take me. The lady actually insinuated that I was lying. They would not let me speak with a manager. While I am emotional as I write this the fact remains that administrative interaction was disrespectful and inappropriate. At another time my doc was running late so they canceled my 8 am appointment *after I had arrived* and told me that they could not book me for three months. As this was not my fault it seems like they would carry the burden of responsibility and try to fit me in. They book months out for both CPAP and general appointments. I would recommend that if you are reading this that you seek treatment elsewhere.
