Mrs. David Joel Maxey

I've been to several therapists over the years and NEVER had one who helped as much as Mr. Maxey. He guides you in your thoughts and doesn't make them for you. He sets you at ease and is very attentive. I have never had money issues with him. Highly, highly recommended.

Disingenuous

David Maxey is only concerned with getting your money. He canceled my appointment only 45 minutes before the scheduled appointment but charged me when I canceled 22 hours in advance. He demands that if you are going to cancel, you must do it 24 hours before the appointment. It just does not extend to him cancelling only 45 minutes before my appointment. Do not get involved with this guy.

Through Compsych, our company allow us three free visits to a therapist. They recommend one and then send all the paperwork to him/her before the fist visit. David Maxey claimed not receiving it and demanded payment the day of the visit. My son, not knowing what it was happening, paid. David did not want to call Compsych right then to get the info he needed. He is all about the money.

We are going to David for couples counseling and he has helped us tremendously in just a short time period. He's very laid back and extremely insightful.

Mr. Maxey is very casual, very easy to talk with. He is very caring and understanding and never judgmental. He cares about his patients.
