Met this doctor this morning because my regular one is away on vacation who is also great. I’ve worked in healthcare my whole life and I’ve seen the gamut of great care through absolute train wrecks, especially now. I could not recommend this doctor highly enough! It was a very tough day for me as my mom had just passed and he was far and beyond my greatest hopes and expectations. He took the time needed, was very gentle and took care of me like a champ! I can’t remember the last time I left a doctors office feeling so satisfied knowing I had just received great care from an extraordinary practitioner.

Dr. Mader was thorough and reassuring. He did notice a slight fungus infection on my large toes and recommended a prescribed medicine to be applied twice daily. The staff is considerate and professional, making sure that you are comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Mader for any problems with your feet.

I had one visit at this practice. I got a foot bath and a few xrays and seen one of the doctors here.. I was told before my appointment that a few of the Doctors were retiring, however I didn't expect to be told I needed some kind of inserts for my shoes and they needed a week for insurance authorization. Guess what, I have never heard from anyone from this practice since... What a waste of time and effort going here... I am sure they PROCESSED THEIR PAYMENT FROM MY INSURANCE COMPANY!!! In January of 2019, I went to Dr. Mader because my heal felt like a knife was going through it. He was very nice and seemed to know what he was talking about. He diagnosed my foot with having Plantar Fasciitis, took an X-ray, sold me an insole to use. The next visit he gave me a cortisone shot because I was in great pain, I could barely walk. That was a horrible experience because although he numbed the area, he didn’t wait for the medicine to take effect and immediately gave me the shot. I could have gone through the roof. I went back a third time, and he decided to release me, telling me it was all coming from my back, the L4 and 5 discs, and I needed my chiropractor to take care of that. I was surprised. After talking to my chiropractor, he felt that he is doing all he can do, but there must be something more to it. I proceeded to go to another podiatrist, who then sent me for an MRI, come to find out I have a slight tear in my fascia tissue. I need a boot and various other things to heal my foot. I am very disappointed with Dr. Mader and how he released me without any MRI or resolve to my issue. I have a friend who went to his colleague, Dr. Jesus(sp?), and he told her that there was nothing he could do for her and there was nothing wrong, even though clearly she was in pain and something was obviously wrong. I do not recommend this practice at all. Although the doctors are pleasant and nice, they are not doing their job the way they should. If I hadn’t gone to another podiatrist, I could be doing more damage now to my foot, thinking it was just stemming from my back. Dr. David Mader has exceptional expertise in his field. I have been seeing him for years and I feel comfortable discussing any issue with him. His bedside manner is unparalleled and he is always on time for my appointments. I have repeatedly recommended him to friends and family.

Mader has been practicing longer than I've been alive, but has failed to work on his bedside manner in any of that time. Dismissive and judgmental, he not only was callous about my concerns as a patient, but also endangered my health. After seeing my PCP just once after seeing him for MONTHS, I was given proper treatment and medicine, and as a result have improved more in days than my entire treatment period with him. I cannot recommend him to anyone who wants their doctor to respect them.
