My husband needed a tooth extracted. This Dr was wonderful. Office staff was friendly and helpful. They had a cancellation, so he got in faster than he thought. Very professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this Dr.

I went to Dr Ludington a few months ago for a wisdom tooth removal. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially since my tooth was impacted and hard to remove, but Dr Ludington did a wonderful job.

From getting my referral to getting three teeth removed, two of which were wisdom teeth, this office as a whole has been amazing. I’m terrified of dentists and was even nervous going here but dr ludington made me feel so comfortable and helped me understand treatment and aftercare to a T. Nurses were awesome too kept my mind busy so I didn’t worry bout what was going on. First time anesthesia also and it was a breeze. Will gladly go back if I have any problems. My husband had 2 of his teeth removed this morning and we could not be happier with Dr. Ludington and his staff. Prompt service and very kind. We were in and out within an hour! Dr. Ludington provided my husband with all of the necessary directions for after care and pain medication for the removal of his teeth. I got referred by Rivertown Dental to get my wisdom teeth taken out here. Like the other one star reviews I had some of the same bad experiences. When I first entered, there was no eye contact from the blonde receptionist or any greeting. I stood in front of her while she ignored me to get my files together. She then said my name and gave me forms. Yes, rude and unprofessional. She also seems to hate her job and the people she works with from how she treats them (observation: the dental assistant said hi and she didn’t say anything back, she did her thing and left.) Now, my dental assistant wasn’t all that great either. She was rude. Told me I had bad teeth, one tooth is probably dead. I was taken back and just agreed, but thought, wow did she really think that was okay to say? I felt bad and she lost my respect. I was quiet the rest of the time. As for the dentist, there is only one and like the other reviews, prepare to come 30 mins early only to be stuck waiting for the dentist for 2 hours! When he came in, it took him less then 5 mins to pull my teeth out. Ridiculous! DO NOT GO HERE! At one point I told the assistant I should reschedule. she said there’s no point and It would be the same process. Well, with that statement, You’ll be waiting close to 2 - 3 hours every time you go there. I then told her I should just go somewhere else then, and she had no come back. This place is horrible. One Dr. for a waiting room full of people! After being called back 40 minutes after the appointment time we had a “consult” with the tech. (Why ask us to come 30 minutes early if you can’t be on time?) Then I was sent to the waiting room, after an hour a half I got a text, nothing had even been started yet they were working on a kid that came in an hour after us. When I asked if I could leave to grab a bite (have to eat every 3-4 hrs per dr order) and was told no or they wouldn’t do the work. But the tech in the back had told my significant other I could go grab something (a salad a block away). I then went outside to call our dentist and told them of the situation. I asked them to not send anyone here again. I was told I could order food to be delivered but I have to eat outside because people who are knocked out can have smell sensitivity. One it is 90* outside and two order out is not an option for me. Had I realized I would now be sitting here for over 3 hours I would have packed a lunch. This is by far the worst service I have every experience. Not sure what the different color scrubs here mean but the lady, in black, at the back desk connected to reception was an evil screw. DO NOT GO TO DR.LUDINGTON! If I could put no stars I would. I went there to get my wisdom teeth taken out, the worst experience of my life. The assistant that was in the room with me was fantastic, I really liked her but then the doctor came in (if you can even call him that).. he walked in like he was God himself. The first thing he said to me is was 'are you afraid of needles?' And I said yes because I am, and he proceeded to tell me I was a liar. When it came time to put in my IV I told him he will have to put it in my hand because every other time I've ever had an IV they have always had to put it in my hand. He completely disregarded what I told him and tried my arm, and low and behold, it was almost like I knew what I was talking about, he had to put it in my hand. When I was sent home they gave me two pain killers.. one for right after the procedure and one for that night.. like that was really going to help me. They also only sent me home with 3 guase pads? Like why not 4. I had to go out to the store and buy more gause and pain killers. I was also in excruciating pain after the surgery and it turned out I had a dry socket & the stitches he put in my mouth ripped out.. right after the procedure was done and that's why it hurt so bad. I still get sharp pain in my jaw leading to my ear on the side I had the dry socket and where I had my wisdom teeth taken out they still gush blood from time to time and it's been almost 6 months since I've had the procedure done. The worst expirence of my life, do yourself a favor and DONT go to him. It will save you a lot of suffering, pain, and added on bills from another doctor that's cleaning up after him. They were able to fit me in quickly. They were quick and efficient. Very kind staff.

Honestly the best experience! Dr ludington is very professional and super friendly! I loved talking with him and staff! They made getting my wisdom teeth out great!

Had to get wisdom extraction and get put under. I was sooooo nervous. Staff was great and dr luddington was awesome too. He's kind of a jokester, definitely has a sense of humor which i like. Dr Ludington extracted a tooth for me 6 months ago. I had a few minor complications and needed to return. He and his staff saw me promptly, treated me well, and reassured me. Dr. Ludington is an excellent oral surgeon. All three of my daughters had their wisdom teeth extracted by him. Although that process is never easy it was done with professionalism, personal care and concern, and without a problem in the procedure itself and in recovery. My wisdom teeth extraction went very well. Although they were busy that day, the doctor still came in and explained everything to me. The assistant was very pleasant, as well. I would recommend.

Incredibly professional. Dr. Ludington is extremely confident and assured me of no complications. I had my wisdom teeth removed in what felt like only 5 minutes. The staff is also very caring. Extremely satisfied.

if you have an appointment plan on a 3.5 hour minimum wait for treatment. Watch out for the young lady at the front desk who is completely disrespectful and lacks any bit of customer service. And don't ask for updates she will just become more rude and irritated. Poor customer service and lack of people skills. I would not let this guy look at my dead dog's teeth. My wife and I went into this hellhole 1 hour early to ask some questions about allergies with Novocain. I have a allergy to penicillin and sulfa. The dental assistant asked me a bunch of personal questions about the time of day that I take my medications, when I said at different times in the day she scoffed. I said let me bring my wife back to answer your questions, she said "I CAN'T"! I brought my wife back any way. We finally got into the exam room to talk to the so-called Doctor. He came prancing in to the room like he was the only person on the planet! He did not look at my wife or me and went on about how I didn't have any allergies to sulfa. He would not even look at me so I got up and walked out! If you need a tooth pulled hook up some string to a car or tractor and have at it. What a class A butt!
