I am giving this place 2 stars. I had an amazing optometrist, Dr.Roebel who was super awesome and explained things well and was willing to talk about the plan for my vision. But thats where the good things end. To start off with, i wanted contacts and they were completely out of trial pairs because they had to throw them away due to being expired. So I was told Id have to wait for them to ordered. My appointment was on a sunday, I was told they would be ordered monday and be here on wednesday. Not a problem. Wednesday came and passed and nothing. Thursday came so I called the office. And was told my contacts may have not even been ordered until WEDNESDAY! and that they can take a week to come in. Not even for a full prescription, just for a SINGLE TRIAL SET to see if the prescription will even work for me. I am giving this place 2 stars. Horrendous experience. The staff are clueless. And the doctor smells like a combination of cigarettes and BO. The doctor was so inept that I had to come back for contact lenses fittings three separate times. Do not come here at all.

I was very disappointed in the care I received. The exam was okay, except for the staff being a bit rude. I placed an order for contact lenses at my appointment on Wednesday. I was told twice that the order would be submitted on Saturday and that they take 7-10 days to arrive. I called in today to find that they weren't ordered until 4 days later than they should have and reminded that they will take 7-10 days to arrive. I impressed upon the staff after my appointment that I wanted to get my contacts as soon as possible so I can stop wearing my very uncomfortable glasses. I offered to pay extra out of pocket to expedite shipping. 16 days later, I still have no contacts and no estimate on when they will arrive. Go to Eyeglass World. They usually have a lot more options in stock and they've always delivered much more quickly than this. I was very disappointed in the care I received. Will never go again I went and I had an appointment and I ordered glasses. When they came in they were the frames I ordered but the lenses were not and I continued to tell the people they were ther wrong ones I paid for the thinned lenses and they said I had to pay another 170 for these ones I told them I don't have that now but all they said was either I pay the 170 or I keep the wrong lenses so I guess I pay 170 and see how this goes. Also my insurance expired and this was my last chance to get this right Will never go again I went and I had an appointment and I ordered glasses. My appointment was scheduled for 4:00PM today due to the weather and traffic I was running late, I called Glenbrook Eye care at 4:04pm and told them I was 2.9 miles away. Immediately I was advised that I was pass the 10 minute grace period this was at 4:08PM. I live an hour south of Fort Wayne we had a terrible snowstorm yesterday the roads are terrible. I’m now sitting in the parking lot after driving an hour and 17 minutes to get here for my appointment the office manager to tell me that being late isn’t an option. I also asked which provider I was scheduled with and she couldn’t tell me she advised they have 2 providers in the office. The receptionist and the office manager were both rude and inconsiderate. I work in healthcare I would have never treated my patient in this way! I just recently moved here from Carmel, IN I have used the Lens crafters in Carmel, this location in Fort Wayne is terrible! Although Lens Crafters is separate from Glenbrook eye care I think Lens crafters needs look into how the Glenbrook eye care is treating people. Located in the back of LensCrafters at the Glenbrook Mall, this doctors office is very easy to access with a great location in Fort Wayne. The staff are very nice and professional and Dr Lubs is highly experienced, friendly, and takes his time in explaining his findings to the patient. I am very glad I went here and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality eye care professional.
