Highly recommend Dr Lamoreaux. He did my total hip replacement after I fractured it.He has a great bedside manner...keeps you informed. His staff was a little aggravating but he has moved since. He works with the hospital surgery like a well oiled machine. We were so impressed that we went back to him to do my wife's shoulder replacement!

Been waiting for a few weeks to see Dr. Lamoreaux. They called me the day before to reschedule the appointment with no reason as to why. I'd have to wait another month to see him. That's totally unacceptable and dismissive of him.

So far, so good. DR Lamoreaux has an awesome way of talking to patients. I am in the medical field and he still went in to great detail about my upcoming shoulder replacement. I actually chose him to do the surgery. His reputation is spectacular! Now, lets get that shoulder done!

I was a patient of Dr. Lamoreaux for two years and nine months. I came in from a failed surgery and yes I had some other medical problem. I am now an above knee amputee. I had three major surgeries with him. He also took over most of my wound care and not my wound care Doctor. I’m now used as a training tool. He didn’t have the proper training to do my amputation. I have now had revision surgery somewhere else to fix some of the problems he left me with. I’ve learned a lot more since my last surgery with him just over two years ago. This type of surgeries should be left to the doctors that have more experience. In several ways I was used as his experiment. I am a human and at the end of my second amputation following knew how little he understood of two of my other under lying medical problems. I am amp strong and have not let all of this stop me from proving him wrong on what I’m now able to do. Unless you can’t be moved because of life, do not let him use you for amputation or wound care. I had several problems arise during my stent with him that phone calls from me, other doctors offices, Prosthetic companies, pharmacy... that were never returned. I also tried to make an appointment with a major problem and was told six weeks out for an appointment. One call resulted in me not getting my injection for Osteoporosis for three months. When your DEXA scans are in the negative it was very important. Please give education on medications such as Forteo and Prolia. Even better refer over to an Endocrinologist that specializes with this. Never just trust the medications you have been prescribed by a Doctor, do research. You may regret it in the end. I’ve learned a lot from my case so that no one else has to endure what I have. My lab work is still showing bone cancer and my kidneys are still showing so failure because of the Forteo. Dental care is a major care point also. Labs work was never done also. Calcium is a very important monitor with this medication.All of this has made me stronger and more determined for my new life I now have. Education, resources and tools should be given to all amputee’s, I had nothing given to me but I’m very resourceful. Beware! An update on trying to get records from my last year with him: It took three calls before I ever got a return call. I’m looking to get my records from date Ranging from 2017 to 2018. When I did finally get a call back the girl told me because they had a name change she could no longer pull my records up. I told her just because of a name change my records just didn’t disappear. I asked her to ask for help from someone. She called me back about 30 minutes later and said Marabelle had them printed. I thanked her and said I would be in sometime next week to pick them up. This was on Friday. On Thursday of the following week I went in to pick up my records that were just clipped together in a bin. The top page was the release of forms that the girl at the counter should have had me sign. She never even asked for ID. Some of the appointments were printed several times, some out of the date range. The surgical notes were from my first surgery in 2016 not my last one that is the ABA that was done on 3/15/17. The records were in complete. No X-rays (the last visit is the most important to me). No pathology report. This is topical for this office, thank you for including the notes from the Cath Lab that the hospital never would print out for me. The office can only be as good as the boss in it! One of the most heartless things, is the picture of you holding my amputated foot and the below knee amputated leg like a trophy. I’m not sure if you asking for the picture to be made or the the hospital decided to include that into the records that I got from them. Thank you for not including a picture of the second amputation you did with my records on the last year with you. The smile is priceless! Yes it’s taken this long for me to finally speak up. Great care given to my mother when she broke her hip, it healed great and the scar is very minimal

Each time I have had to visit this office, I have been treated very well. Quick and responsive to my needs for an appointment and the same for my wife, also a patient there.

visited the doctor 6 months ago because of pain in my little finger, it was very professional and I spend time, I solved the problem of the finger warned me that it could hurt again, I already made another appointment to see him for the same problem I hope it is so humanitarian as the first time, I recommend it is very good doctor

Very unhappy with the service provided by Dr. Lamoreaux medical staff. Ms. Maribel was supposed to have my wife's prescription transferred to another Walgreens because we moved from the area where it was sent. I called numerous times to the office and they would not answer the phone. I was finally able to reach Ms. Maribel and she stated she was going to have it transferred. To make things worse, my wife just had surgery and it was on a Friday, the offices are closed on the weekend and we are depending on getting the prescription from the Walgreens closest to my residence. Ms. Maribel never sent the transfer and we get a message from Walgreens in Davenport indicating the prescription is ready and they never transferred the prescription to Winter Haven. Thank you Maribel for being so professional and worrying about the status of my wife and trying to make us driving 30-40 minutes away to get her prescription. The other issue is that my wife might have to travel in the vehicle since it is a narcotic and she will need to identify herself. Thank you so much. Horrible service. I think Dr. Lamoreaux should evaluate the people he has representing him. Poor service. Adding to this review, I got a response from a Rudy Mercado advising she was going to resolve this issue and speak to her staff. Nothing was resolved and again with poor customer service. My wife sent her FMLA paperwork to be completed by your office weeks prior to the surgery and they have failed to send the paperwork to our Human Resource Benefits Coordinator. My wife called multiple times leaving voicemail messages and never received a response. The doctor never sent the transfer for the prescriptions and I had to drive to Davenport to get her medication. This is very unprofessional and low class. Since I have lived in Florida, this has been the first Medical Staff that provided such poor customer service. All of the ones I have dealt with answer their phones and provide excellent customer service. It appears there is no sense of urgency and the staff really does not care about their patients. This doctor's office is a scam. I don't know if they are getting back at us because of the negative comments about their poor customer service or it is just their way of doing business. Now what a coincidence that our medical insurance will not cover the surgery and they are trying to come after us for the full payment. Do not go to this medical office, they are a bunch of scammers. They have poor customer service and their doctor performs operations without getting approval from your medical insurance. Very terrible!!!! I recieved nothing but the best service from Dr. Lamoreaux and his staff. He took his time explaining everything to me and his staff were gental fitting and placing on my boot. Thank you.

I had my thumb joint fixed in Oct/18. He was so nice and his staff great, Now I’m going back for my left thumb....and maybe both knees after Christmas. They need to be done and I’ll discuss it next week with him.

Not happy with his medical staff. The main person I am not happy with is Maribel. My wife had surgery on Friday. The prescription for my wife's pain was sent to a Walgreens where we previously resided. I understand that is our fault for not updating the pharmacy. The medical staff should be available to assist you in transferring the prescription. We had issues trying to reach Maribel and when we finally made contact with her she lied and said she will have the medication transferred to our closest Walgreens. On Saturday my wife gets the message the prescription was ready and was never transferred. I will have to pick up the prescription 30-40 minutes away from my house. The only other issue is that my wife with her knee surgery might have to get in the vehicle with me to get her prescription because it is a narcotic. Thank Ms. Maribel, you was very unprofessional and I hope Dr. Lamoureaux deals with your incompetence and poor attitude. Did it out of spite. Poor service!!!

He’s done surgeries on several of my family members he is a wonderful surgeon! Great caring doctor!

We have never been treated by a more caring and compassionate physician. My Wife just had knee replacement surgery and was concerned about details prior to surgery. She said to him that even though this was common practice for him, this was her first and needed details. He was so spectacular - sat with us for 1/2 hour explaining the step and step procedure and what we could expect and when. We cannot say enough about him and his staff!!!! This is the guy to go to!!! He did my Mom’s hip surgery and follow up. Great Doctor. Also did knee and hip injections for me. I would highly recommend him.

Under Dr. Lamoreaux’s care for almost 3 years. I came to him after a failed surgery. Yes I later found out I had two under lying medical conditions. I had three major surgeries with him. The first being a knee replacement and an Achilles’ tendon. This lead to a wound vacuum, then a below knee amputation. This was after finally they found no of not enough blood flow. The front desk staff and MA are a bunch of rude and disrespectful individuals. I had to reschedule because they did not know how to do their job and update my insurance information. When I went back there was no change, the staff was still disrespectful towards me and made me feel very uncomfortable.I asked to speak to the office manager and wow she was very unhelpful and rude as well. Doctor Lamoreaux is EXTREMELY Professional and has a wonderful bedside manner. He performed my 15 year old daughter's Surgery on her foot. She has a Rare bone disease. He is a genius and a very nice warm friendly caring man. It was an extremely complicated long surgery and he did a wonderful job. He addressed all my concerns, showed me how he would perform her surgery and made me feel at ease throughout the whole experience. He is a wonderful man who saved my daughter a lifetime of heartache. Two years ago Dr. Lamoreax did a knee replacement and I did a review at that time. Yes I was happy with him however not with some of his office staff. Recently (4/21) a friend fell and broke her arm and badly sprained her other arm. She went to the er and was told to schedule an appt. The first appt she could get into him was 5/1. Than she saw the PA and not Lamoureax. She was told, not once but twice, to come in one half early for her 8 AM appt. only to discover the office didn't open until 8!

Very terrible experience. i don't recomend this doctor not even for my dog.

I have had no problem with my Knee replacement it has been almost a year other than a little swelling,I work out at anytime fitness 4days a week????????????????????

Dr Lamoreaux is a great surgeon He performed a knee re-replacement on my 84 year old mother.without blood loss. She is doing fabulous . Thank you Dr lamoreaux❤

Dr Lamoreaux did a total right knee replacement this morning. I am in NO pain and I am seating up and walking. Did I mention I AM IN NO PAIN! I may be released tomorrow. Two years ago I had my left knee replaced in a different FL hospital, by a different FL doctor. That hospital and doctor has a top notch reputation (?). I was so sick, so miserable and in so much pain! After a few days there, they transferred me to a nursing home. The pain was severe. I was there for 2 weeks. It still isn't pain free. Do I recommend Dr. Lamoreaux? YES, I DO! He is easy to talk with and truly cares for his patients. Great personality! Need a new knee call Dr Lamoreaux, you won't be sorry. Dr. Lamoreaux was fantastic with my son a couple of years ago when he needed orthopedic care for a boxers fracture. Recently, I phoned his office because that same son dislocated his shoulder, was seen in urgent care and told to follow up with his orthopedic doctor. When I phoned the office Maribel told me they were booked out until August 16th that's 6 weeks out and that she was not allowed to overbook appointment if I needed a doctor sooner go back to urgent care, or see another orthopedist.

From the beginning to my TNR - he has been wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints about him or his staff or my treatment at Heart of Florida Hospital.
