I was quite surprised at the Dr.'s interest in what concerns my wife and I had. Being just recently diagnosed with cancer, and all the extra Dr visits and procedures, it is somewhat overwhelming. I would recommend Dr. King to anyone I know.

I started working with Dr. King in 2011 With my original melanoma diagnosis and with my reoccurring melanoma In 2020. He is a fantastic,” patient caring” doctor And I am very confident And proud To have his care.

Very caring and compassionate doctor, took plenty of time to go over things and explained in a way that was easy to understand. Felt like he had true care for my sons health.

I am in my 16th year with terminal cancer. My treatment is a real challenge and he openly discusses my various options.

First visit to Dr. King. Previous oncology team recommended moving from curative to palliative care. Dr. King did not agree or disagree, but explained my recent PT scan to me in detail as we viewed it onscreen. He asked me lots of questions and recommended changes in my treatment plan that gave me hope for my future.

His first concern was relieving the horrible pain so that I would have the strength and will to face whatever the tests were going to reveal. I don’t think I’ve ever run into a more compassionate and concerned physician.

Dr King listens to his patients and goes over everything explaining what test results mean. He takes his time making sure you feel comfortable and giving you time to ask questions.

Dr King takes such good care of me. I feel blessed to have him in my life. Highly skilled, a good listener and truly cares about his patients and his staff.

Dr . king is honest , and caring . I do alot of research on my own. And if asked a question Dr. king answers the questions very well with knowledge and good direction . He has gone above and beyond in my care .

Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait; however, that is because Dr. King doesn’t rush your visit. He takes his time with you, answers your question, and makes sure you’re living your best life possible. I recommend him to anyone facing cancer.

Dr King takes the time to listen to concerns and address them. He kept me involved with decision making and up to date with test results. When insurance denied test authorization, he found a way to get it done. I am reassured that he has my best interests in mind.

Dr. King was so nice. He went over my test results from the ER at Mercy Hospital. He told me he wanted more images so he could possibly determine what was showing up on the CAT scan. He asked questions to determine how I was feeling overall. I have shingles so my pain level has been high. My previous doctor had given me 12 pain pills and I was saving them for night as I can’t get comfortable to sleep. He called in a scrip for me and last night was the first night in 2 weeks that I actually slept. So thankful for the care I received. A MRI is scheduled for 6-30-2022 at 5:00 at Unity Hospital. I’m to report at 4:30. Dr. King said he will contact me after the results are in and discuss what the next step should be in my care.

Friendly and explained my condition. Took time to answer questions and provide more detail. Listed potential options for my treatment path. Reassuring and helped me relax.

Dr. King listen to my question and explained very well. He is very kind and caring, responds to my message quickly even in the night and weekend. I will certainly recommend him to other patients.

Very compassionate and a wonderful doctor

Thanks to Dr. King and his team I am a five year survivor of stage 3 melanoma! He is the most dedicated and caring Doctor I have every met. With Gods help Dr king saved my life!

Dr. King is very attentive to my questions and needs. I recently had a Petscan and it showed I was NED!! We were BOTH so excited and happy. I'm glad I switched from going to my local doctor here in Mora, to Minnesota Oncology and Dr. King, who was recommended to me by a friend who goes there.

Dr King is the best oncologist I could ever have. He is very skilled, up to date on all care available, and is kind and caring. He listens and empathizes with all I am feeling. Makes me feel important to him. Responds quickly to and messages I send.

I have been with Dr. King for over 17 through three separate cancers. I would not want anyone else helping us make decisions for my care!

When I was first diagnosed, 3 different people with no connections told me to see Dr King. I said, well, God, I guess that's who you want me to see! Fast forward 15 years, I still continue to see him for my annual check ups. He is professional, personable, and very good at what he does. If not for him and his amazing team, I would not be here today. I would most definitely refer others to him.

16 years ago I had cancer and it went into remission. Dr King is a very patient person, kind and caring.

I have just switched from Dr.Jade Anderson to Dr. King.... after 10 years I felt I needed to see what other options were available. My first visits with Dr.King have been very informative... he shows me on screen where my cancer is enlarging so I feel more knowledge helps me have less anxiety and stress..... Dr.Anderson is good... he helped me through my fist 10 years of cancer.... and I thank him.

I have been seeing Dr. King since 2011. He was, is, and always will be the most thorough, kindest, sincere, thoughtful, caring doctor....the list could go on forever. I only need to see him annually now, but every visit is meaningful for me. I have moved several hours away, but will always make the drive to see him and keep him as my oncologist. Dr. King is a treasured gem in my world and I’m so fortunate to have found him when I needed a doctor to treat my breast cancer. He saved my life! I will be forever grateful.
