Though we were happy with the medical care, we are very unhappy with their staff. The appointment was at one of their satellite locations in Tifton, GA rather than their main office in Macon. No Dr. was seen, but a nurse practitioner or PA working for Dr. David Kent. $260 was billed to our insurance for a Dr. David Kent with a Tifton address. However, the insurance company lists Dr. Steven Kent under that address instead. Due to this mix up, the insurance cannot process. We called the billing department of Dr. Kent's office in an attempt to uncover why the insurance claim was denied. At first, we were just informed about Dr. Kent's office simply not accepting our insurance company. Upon, consultation with the insurance we found out more details about the address/name mix up. Then we called back to Dr. Kent's billing department, who informed us that this was not their problem and that they were already so forthcoming to drop down the bill to $90 instead of $260 which was the self-pay rate. The fact that it is also in the best interest of Dr. Kent that their information is listed correctly for insurances to process claims was completely lost on the staff. Surely, Dr. Kent would have rather earned $260 for the same Dr. visit for which he now only received $90. At the same time a client is lost, because we have insurance and we need to work with someone who accepts that insurance. However, since Dr. Steven Kent is listed at the Tifton address for our insurance instead of Dr. David Kent, who the provider billed for a Macon address, we are not covered by our insurance for these visits.

Very condescending and rude. Had a keloid and instead of cutting it off, he just injected it and said it would go down. Eventually had to go to GA dermatology and get it cut off. Acted very entitled as well.

Had BCC at 37 years old on my face. Dr Kent did my surgery, can hardly tell I was operated on. He’s one of the best in the area, knows what he’s doing

If I could give this practice less than one star, I would. I went in to see a female provider only to realize I was not seeing a doctor but a nurse practitioner. This was never conveyed when I made my appointment. They do not even employ a female doctor. Very deceiving. So they had me see this Cohen fellow instead. He was very condescending in my interactions with him. He was in and out in less than 2 minutes without, didn't give me the time of day. This practice is clearly only interested in making a profit and not in truly caring for patients. He also treated his staff horribly which is always a huge red flag to me when I see a doc. Will be driving to the city for my skin care needs in the future rather than go back. If I could give this practice less than one star, I would. Dr. Kent and his staff and so kind and caring . I would recommend this group to anyone.

After waiting 55 minutes past my appointment, I decided to go elsewhere. The receptionist told me he was also seeing another Doctor's patients. Don't go there.

I could never get in to see the doc only the PA. He froze a weird place on my face 3 times for a year!anything on the face should be biopsied early on. guess what? It's melanoma. All of the sudden I could see Dr. Kent that day! Who was very gruff and unfriendly as he knew he was going to have to remove 1/3 of my face on one side. I never went back. I hope they feel bad. I know hindsight is 20/20 but this is my FACE!

I have been a patient of dr. Kent's for at least 20 years. I have recommended him to numerous individuals as well as my family. I feel he is an excellent dermatologist. I started using dr. Kent many years ago when the previous surgeon I used said he wanted to send me to a really good surgeon that would not leave a scar.

I have been a patient and friend of Dr. Kent for about 25 years. He has performed numerous surgeries during that time. Some could have caused plastic surgery to be needed. But his superior knowledge and skill made such unnecessary. He is always most pleasant and treats me like his friend. I have no problem putting him at the top of the list, not just locally but nationally.

I have been a patient for a few years now and have always been extremely impressed with Dr. Kent's manner, staff and most importantly his results. I recommend Dr. Kent to everyone I know who sees a dermatologist, and everyone who asks about the dramatic change in my skin condition. He changed my life for the better when other Doctors told me I had to pretty much live with my condition. Staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I could not be more pleased, I highly recommended Dr. Kent.

This guy has the worst attitude towards patients. He even yells at his staff in front of patients and presents an extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional care environment. I would not recommend anyone see him. He clearly only cares about your money.

I am extremely pleased with the work of Dr. Kent, his professionalism, his expertise, and his friendliness. He and the entire staff do all they can to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I have had excellent results, and I hope he will be my doctor for a long time.

Poor office experience in both local offices - Very flippant attitude from PA in Warner Robins and Poor time management in Macon - a 3 hour procedure took 8 hours - spent 1 hour in surgery - 1 hour waiting on results - 1 hour stitching wound up and 5 hours just sitting around. This is after finally scheduling for surgery after a 3 month wait. Original biopsy on 7/8/2016 - Finally scheduled for surgery on October 24th. Will not use them again -

Love this office!! They have been working on me for 8 years now to keep my skin cancer free~!

Dr. Kent has removed four skin cancers from my face. He and his staff are excellent! They are very professional, caring, and have great personalities! He explains exactly what is going to take place each step of the way. I am very pleased with all the results. Be prepared to stay for a while. It takes time to perform the surgery, read and analyze the results, and finish the procedure. Take a sweater. It's cold in the procedure rooms! I wouldn't have anyone else remove cancers from my face. Dr. Kent has removed four skin cancers from my face. He and his staff are excellent!
