Dr. Hunt is the best eye doctor in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. I've been going to him for 3+ years now, and its the best health decision for my eyes that I've made. He thoroughly checks, listens to complaints and educates you on how to keep your eyes healthy. I recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a doctor to aide them in their eye health journey.

Dr. Hunt is my optometrist at The Center For Sight, University Park location. He is so friendly, easy to talk to you, and extremely thorough with your eye exam. The staff at Center For Sight is amazing! My husband and I both go to Dr. David Hunt and we are extremely happy!

Best Eye doctor in the area. Center for Sight should give him and raise and also clone him and spread his talent to the new clone.

Dr. David Hunt was very professional and my eye exam was a breeze. The rest of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Ryan was really helpful with finding the right pair of glasses! Way to go and keep up the great customer service!

We have been going here for at least 5 years. The Staff are incredible. Appointments are always on time, and the staff is very polite. Dan and crew will give the most honest opinion on glasses and lenses. They work as a team to make you feel confident in your selection of glasses . No better place to go for your eye care.

My wife woke at 3 a.m on Sunday with very severe left eye pain; we thought she likely had a torn or detached retina. I called Center for Sight at 4:30 a.m. and Dr Hunt, who was on call, called back within 10 minutes. He diagnosed her problem as a scratched cornea, suggested corrective action, and called back a few hours later to check on her level of pain(somewhat less). Two days later, she has little discomfort. Hats off and thanks to Center for Sight and Dr. Hunt, each a class act!

Dr Hunt is straightforward, personable and explains everything during the exam. I've been his patient for the last four years. I would highly recommend him.

Everyone at this facility is so kind and helpful, from the people making the appointments, the receptionists checking you in... The technicians walk you through every procedure and explain what they are doing and why. Doctor Hunt takes the time to talk to you and take all of your concerns into consideration. Then the people who fix glasses and help you pick out frames are SO knowledgeable. They make sure the glasses fit you perfectly before you leave. I can literally do cartwheels with my glasses on! Dr. Hunt takes the time to make sure he covers all of your concerns. His staff is very polite and explains each procedure as they perform it. Making an appointment is easy and the wait times are never long. Getting fitted for frames is a delight and they won't let you leave until the glasses are perfect! I highly recommend this location and Dr. Hunt!

The staff here are very nice and professional. I have never had to wait a long time for the appointment and the professional treating you explains everything in detail and answers any questions you may have. I would definitely recommend this practice.

I like Dr. Hunt very much. Even though he was over an hour behing schedule, he did not hurry me a long at all. Very nice doctor and very nice person. My only concern was that I was at this appointment for 2 hours. Not the doctors fault, it was the staff.

The office staff is very polite and professional. My whole family goes to tDr Hunt He is warm, thorough, kind very gentle and explains things so thoroughly I rarely can think of additional questions. When it came time for surgery Dr Lahners COMPLETELY restored my vision. I could not be happier

I had a bad experience last year so this year I was skeptical finding a new doctor again but Dr.Hunt was wonderful. I did not have a long wait, he took his time explaining things to me, he is very friendly and knowledgeable. I can't wait to go see him again next year.

I've got seriously screwed up eyes, so I need thorough eye exams. I'm really happy with their optometrists. I also take my wife and son there. Their optometrists are the best.

The staff and Dr Hunt were all very friendly and probably one of the best eye exams I've ever had. I didn't feel rushed, which was nice for a change. The office was very nice and felt like a medical office and not like a typical eye glass place. I would definitely recommend this place!

Dr. Hunt is extremely nice. He goes above and beyond for you! I've never had such an eye exam like the one I had at Centre for Sight with Dr. Hunt. It was so thorough! He spent so much time with me. This was my fourth visit with Dr Hunt. As always, he did a thorough exam and explained the results. He answered my questions and made several suggestions regarding my situation. He is the ultimate professional. I definitely recommend him to anyone needing vision exams.

Dr. Hunt was recommended to me by the manager, Kathryn, at Sweet Tomatoes, which is next door to Center for Sight. I liked Dr. Hunt from the moment I met with him as he was friendly yet professional. Enjoyed that he explained procedures and educated me on what he was finding; even showing me some things on the computer. Every visit has been enjoyable and informative, which I appreciate. I am 31, and have been around optometrists and optical centers since the age of 14. Recently I heard someone describe the typical eyeglasses/contacts visit like this: 'It's like buying a used car'....something you have to do, but that is so full of annoyances and grumpy people that you don't really enjoy it. My entire experience with Center For Sight - from the phone call to set my appointment to the fitting of my new specs - was the exact opposite of this - it was happy and even fun. The staff are friendly and upbeat and most importantly, they don't act as if they have better things to do. AND the price was right. Highly recommended!
