Dr. David James Hoyt

Terrible. Didn't even listen to me. Didn't explain anything. Didn't examine me. Ignored imaging that was abnormal to an untrained eye and written all over reports. Don't waste your time.

Unless you have simple issues to fix he's pretty useless. Told me my complaints are weird. Sorry chronic ear infections and a pressure behind my ear seems "weird" its not. I came in with abnormal imaging, yet he said everything is normal ignoring the results from my imaging. Also, I have a clear visual deformity (also noted on every scan I've had) from shattering my nose as a kid but apparently my nose must have been born that way. Be nice if he's actually took the time to examine the problem. Sucks there's no decent ENTs in the area. People like him don't deserve to be physicians.

Terrible. Takes your money then doesn't even do a proper exam.

Very happy with Dr Hoyt! Have seen him several times for chronic ear infections. Excellent listening skills and bedside manor. I would highly recommend Dr Hoyt

Extremely happy with Dr. Hoyt and his staff. They are always easy to talk to and schedule visits. I received very thorough care, Dr. Hoyt took the time to explain what medical condition I was having and the best way to move forward. The staff was also very helpful in getting my insurance to approve the care I needed. 5 STARS!!

Dr. Hoyt is a great Dr. and listens to you as a patient!!

being retired from a similar field , just let me say this guy does a good job, separates the wheat from the chaff and that's what I like, good listener who takes in your input, I would recommend him and do.

Went in multiple times for same issue and he just pushes me out the door without finding root cause. Hes a take the money and run doctor i wont be going back.

My Appointment with Dr Hoyt was excellent ! He listened to me and the treatment he provided gave me almost instant relief! He was accurate and knowledgeable. His bedside manners were caring as well. Should i have any further issues he is the Dr i will be going back to.

Called to make an appt with Dr Hoyt and individual that I spoke to did not have the best people skills. She was short, rude and I felt like I was bothering her. A little understanding and compassion goes along way. Needless to say I canceled my appt and went elsewhere.

Wish I could give zero stars. Went to Dr Hoyt with symptoms, told him that i was adamite that he test me for a particular issue due to the symptoms being exclusive to that. He dismissed it and would not. Sought a second opinion at Johns Hopkins, who did the requested testing and confirmed the condition I thought I had. At this point, I wasn't even mad, but when I called to tell the office I was not paying the remaining balance due to the misdiagnosis and basically the Dr providing no value, the lady got nasty with me and told me they were turning it over to collections. I said all I wanted was the balance wiped clean, she told me to call my lawyer. Wish I could give zero stars. Dr. Hoyt is awesome but the billing department is shady. The first time they said the bill was never payed even though it was. The second time they held payment and sent bill to collections while refusing to drop fee after processing payment. Better off finding a Dr. with a billing department that functions properly.

Dr. Hoyt is great. He's direct but has good bedside manner. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Kim in particular is great and knows her stuff.

Dr Hoyt was amazing. He was honest and upfront with everything. The office front desk was very nice as well. I’ve been here once, but felt satisfied enough to leave a review. The dr and the office were great.

Worst experience EVER! DR. Hoyt was by far the worse specialist my family have ever encounter. He honestly did not care my daughter was having issues. He literally shrug and said he thinks my daughter was LYING about her ear problems. I watch my daughter cry in pain and for him to say that was absolutely disgusting! How dear he! I will NEVER be back to his office again. Good luck to anyone who chooses this place. All I could do is seriously pray for this man and hope nobody else experience what we went through. Dr.Hoyt was fantastic! Very sociable and easy to talk too. He was very engaged, and seemed to really care about the issues I was having. Even though at first glance my ear looked healthy he went the extra step to make sure that there wasn't any deeper issues. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that was having anysort of problems. The staff was friendly and efficient. All and all it was a very professional and comforting experience. Dr. Hoyt was amazing in removing my daughter's tonsils, adnoids, and in placing tubes in her ears. He was able to fit the surgery in at the earliest convienience and she has been doing wonderfully since!

After months of illness and misdiagnosis, Dr Hoyt fixed me up.

We go to many doctors and this was among the ones whom I would suggest avoiding. You will feel that the atmosphere in the office revolves around doing the procedures that do not seem to make sense. Then, the office staff will keep calling you for the payment even if you have one the most expensive insurance. I have a State insurance and go to any specialist without any prescription and can have any procedure paid in full. But only this doctor billed me with huge expenses after the visit.
