Dr. Hoch has been very thorough, dedicated and professional in addressing my A-fib over the past 5 years. After being hospitalized with SVTs that were recorded by the EMS, I went to Dr. Hoch for an evaluation to address the erratic electrical impulses of my heart. He recommended that I undergo an ablation procedure to eliminate the erratic heartbeats. Dr. Hoch explained the procedure thoroughly and addressed all of my concerns in advance. His confidence, experience and calming bedside manner made me comfortable and assured that I was in the right place with the right doctor. I had the ablation procedure on 7/3/18 and returned home the following day. I returned to normal activities quickly and follow up with Dr. Hoch approximately every six months. I look forward to my check ups with Dr. Hoch and receiving a fist bump and a smile from him. He appears as happy and excited as I that my recovery and progress is textbook. His enthusiastic response confirms to both of us that his masterful surgical skills have improved the life of another grateful patient.

Dr Hoch ordered my mom to stay in the hospital just to make money .other Dr's had given permission for her release and as soon as i threatened him ,he said she can leave. I wouldn't trust him at all.its all about his pocket

I have been a patient of Dr. Hoch's for at least 25 years. After monitoring and treating my Afib for years it was time to try a cardioversion. When that didn't work, Dr Hoch suggested an ablation which I had in 2008. It corrected the Afib but that same year I developed atrial flutter. Again Dr. Hoch performed an ablation and the flutter was gone.It changed my life. In 2010, at age 69, I started running. In 2012 I ran my first 10K race but sprinted at the end (a mistake) and I had palpitations for the first time in 4 years. It was a Sunday afternoon. I called Dr. Hock on Monday morning. He got me in for my third ablation that week and I have been free of Afib since. I changed to running 5Ks. Thanks to Dr. Hoch, I am a healthy and happy 81 year old.

Palpitations are very uncomfortable to have since when they start you don't know how long they will last. Because I trust what he was telling me I decided to go ahead with the ablation which as I said had great results. He gave me his personal cell number should I have any problems or questions which made me feel at ease. I had a successful ablation six years ago. I'm 66 years old and teach ice hockey and work as a bay constable in the summer months. I have follow up appointments and the office is always pleasant and efficient.Dr.Hoch is professional and takes an interest in how I'm doing.

Dr Hoch truly saved my life. After my diagnosis I scheduled an appointment with him. His staff was great. When he came into the room (no waiting in the waiting room, he was right on schedule) he greeted me, was friendly, courteous and professional. Made the appointment for my procedure and again, he was great. Did the procedure. I didn't feel a thing and no pain afterwards. He explained everything so I could understand, and didn't rush me with questions. My family and I can't thank him enough.

I can't believe he is a doctor. He really needs to learn how to speak to people. He is beyond awful.

HE IS THE RUDEST, MOST ARROGANT DOCTOR WE EVER ENCOUNTERED.MY MOTHER WAS TRANSFERRED TO THIS HOSPITAL WITH A VERY FAST PULSE FROM ANOTHER HOSPITAL'S EMERGENCY ROOM. HE TRIED TO PERFORM A CARDIO-VERSION, BUT SHE ALMOST SUFFERED A FATAL OVERDOSE OF ANESTHESIA. NEXT HE DID A CARDIAC ABLATION BUT IT FAILED TO WORK. HE THEN CHANGED MEDICINES, WITHOUT CONSULTING THE CARDIOLOGIST AND WOULD NOT DISCUSS WITH US, RUDELY TELLING US TO GIVE THE PHONE TO THE NURSE. THE NEXT DAY, I TOLD HIM NOT TO CHANGE IT TO A MEDICINE THAT HAD FAILED IN THE PAST, BUT HE SCREAMED AT US AND HUNG UP. HE IS INEPT AND TOTALLY UNFIT TO BE A DOCTOR. DO NOT GO TO HIM OR YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY !!!

He did an EP on me without checking my bloodwork and previous tests. I went to him because of a low heart rate. All previous heart tests didn't show any thing wrong with my heart. Bloodwork showed low thyroid. Instead of waiting to see if my thyroid was causing my low heart rate, he did an EP on me and implanted a monitor under my skin in my chest. Before the procedure I was told there wouldn't be a scar and I would be aware during the procedure. I woke up afterwards and I was completely unaware

When I saw him for a consult he said he would accept what ever my insurance paid. afterwards, he bills me an "agreed" amount, because what my insurance paid was not enough for him. Totally denied what he said at the consult. He did my ablation and yes he is good, but I am sure I could have found another doctor who would not have gone back on his word.

Dr. Hoch graciously agreed to add me to his schedule to assess me. When I made the appt I told them my holter diagnosis which was not life threatening. When he read my reports from my cardiologist before entering the room he greeted me and explained how he was not the doctor for me as this was not life threatening. He would not allow me to speak and tell my story . He boasted about his background instead. He did not give me any suggestions or advice regarding my low BP. He was unprofessional!

Didn't bother reading my chart ahead of time and didn't realize I had suffered a stroke. Cordial afterwards but has too many patients and needs to reduce his load.
