David A Halsey

Halsey is rude and both physically and psychologically abusive to certain patients; he then laughs when they object to this wildly inappropriate behavior. How he chooses his victims is a mystery, as they do nothing to illicit such outrageously unprofessional maltreatment. While he may be wonderful to some patients, he arbitrarily and capriciously selects others to suffer this cruel and sadistic treatment.

I’m so Happy I was able to stay ‘on island ‘ for my total knee replacement surgery. To be able to come home & not have to drive to the SSA & get on a boat meant the world to me. Everything went great. I would recommend the MVH & Dr Halsey & his team to anyone

Dr. Halsey did total knee replacements on both of my knees, one in September 2015 and the second in November 2015. The entire process was superior. My knees were severely damaged from years of high impact sports, work, and play. I interview two other orethopedic surgeons before him and he was great to work with start to finish as was his staff, especially Tammy his nurse. I wanted knees that I could use actively and selected him from a small group of surgeons that would provide Oxinium knees.

you hear the horror stories about the hospital - but my experience would give it an A+ with the folks I had to deal with, Thanks

He is a fantastic surgeon who as great compassion for his patients.

He repaired the meniscus tear in my right knee in January 2015. upon followup a few weeks later I asked how long I could continue normal life with this second time repaired meniscus. His answer was I don't know! Not it depends or for some it can last quite a while. Within six months I could hardly walk at times. I opted to see someone who could give me better answers to my questions.

Knee surgery results have been excellent, and Dr. Halsey is a superb surgeon and very caring doctor. He explained everything thoroughly, and I never felt rushed. He called frequently to see how I was progressing, and his attention far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend him highly.

I would and have recommended Dr. Halsey for hip and knee replacement. He is the best and the staff is also

one of the best doctors I have ever been to. Completely explained everything in a manner easy to understand. Showed great care for me as a patient.

Very personable and always took what ever time need.

He is a great surgeon who cares about his patients. I got a call the night before and my first night home after surgery. He cares

I have only superlatives to share about my excellent experience before during and after my knee surgery. He and his inpatient and outpatient teams are top notch. I highly recommend Dr Halsey.
