My PCP was able to work me into Dr. Grunkemeier's schedule with a four day's notice after becoming alarmed over a CT scan. I was seen by Dr. Grunkemeier inside forty-five minutes after arriving in his office and he explained what was needed going forward. The procedures were scheduled and completed. This all happened over three weeks.

Staff at the Oregon Clinic and Dr. Grunkemeier and his team there are first rate. Intake and pre-op are quick, efficient, and comforting. They are thorough and always willing to explain anything I ask them. Post-op is likewise thorough and efficient. Dr. Grunkemeier explained preliminary findings before I departed and the pathology report came only a few days later as expected. The COVID procedures were a little uncertain for the departure as my wife had to drive me home and it was not clear if she should come up to meet me or not. Very professional, warm and friendly people all around. I slept through the entire procedure.

He's handsome and charming and nice, but he doesn't listen and doesn't actually care about anything but his reputation. Find someone else.

Finally called me three weeks after my doctor referred me to them, to tell me they could see me at the earliest in eight weeks. Staff seemed very nice, but I am looking for a doctor that is actually available, not someone that can squeeze me in in two months.

I have been going to the Oregon Clinic G.I. West office for about 5 years now. They've helped me manage my GI condition through different methods. Dr. David Grunkemeier is a very thorough GI doctor. He is very kind, professional, and has much insight into the world of Gastro-intestinal diseases. The RN, MA, and other staff are also very pleasant to work with. There is only one thing I would recommend, and that is- sometimes - when they get busy, I sometimes don't receive a call back - which can be IMPERATIVE when the Dr. Prescribes a new medication - but no MA or RN remembers to call to tell me I have a prescription. I had to personally call and ask why I hadn't received news on next steps. According to the person who took my phone call - they should have called me with that information 2 weeks prior. Needless to say I was very upset about this. Overall, this is a good, honest Medical Facility, but sometimes they make mistakes. Because of this instance, I will have to be a little more vigilant, and if I don't hear back within a week I will call back to make sure they didn't forget about me or my questions/concerns. It had to be a televisit due to covid but I still had a wonderful experience with Dr Grunkemeier. Very personable, very professional, took lots of time to talk to me, I didn’t feel he was rushed at all. I had at least 3 different people tell me that he’s the one to see and they were right! My last two doctors retired, so this was my first visit with Dr. Grunkemeier. He took the time on our video visit to make the best plan for me. He listened to my concerns, and was easy to talk to. I feel very confident in working with him in the future.

Dr Grunkemeier is very attentive to his patients. He explains everything in easy to understand terms, answers all questions, spends enough time and really cares about his patients!

He is a wonderful doctor and always takes the time to answer questions and give helpful information.

The check in process is streamlined and effortless. The Endoscopy suite is well staffed. Staff are attentive. Dr Grunkmeier is very personable and informative.

Dr. Grunkemeier is consistently good. Very competent and authentic in his interactions with this patient. I trust him and feel he is at the top of his game.

The team at the Oregon Clinic was extremely professional from check in to release! I highly recommend Dr. Grunkemeier as he an his team updated me on their findings immediately after the procedure and was extremely fast with the subsequent test results.

Dr. Grunkemeier is at once casual and respectful. He impresses me as being very sharp, while at the same time being gentle and aware of my feelings. He explained things clearly and answered all of my questions. I think it really was about as good a virtual visit as I could have expected.

Colonoscopy on Dec 18, 2019. Everything went well with no surprises. Still waiting for biopsy results on the polyps.

The high level of continuous care I receive from Dr. Grunkemeier and his entire team is always exemplary. Never feel rushed and always have all questions and concerns addressed.

Dr. Grunkemeier was personable and thorough. He explained what was going on and what would happen in the future in detail, and in terms a layman could understand. 10/10, would recommend to friends and family.

I have found Dr Grunkemeier to be very professional and passionate. I appreciate him taking the time to both listed and explain his thoughts. He is in the profession for all the right reasons. He truly cares.

I left GI clinic due to the wait times and feeling very rushed for an appointment. At times Dr Grunkmeier would spend time a lot of time going over options and such, while others you would spend less then 10 mins after waiting over an hour.
