Dr. David Goldblatt

I have never gone to a worse Dr! He was very unprofessional using cuss words to discuss my medical issues To top it off he injected me with a very strong narcotic that sent me to the ER VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Dr Goldblatt is an excellent physician. We greatly appreciated his professionalism and objective review. He is personable and has a great sense of humor, which helps to relieve fear and potential pain. He took the time to review the images with us before we left his office and confirmed what we suspected in a concise and clear manner. I would recommend him to anyone who requires complex neuroradiolgy or imaging.

I was just scrolling through some radiology related sites this morning and Dr. Goldblatts' name popped up. I noticed that he had no reviews,and so I thought I would happily give him my review. I haven't seen him in years,but I have NEVER forgotten him. I have had 4 myelograms in my life. I have had 7 spine surgeries. My first myelogram was with Dr. Goldblatt. I was scared to death. He was at the ARA off of Mopac. The entire staff were so kind. This Dr.was WONDERFUL. I had absolutely no discomfort. He sedated me for the procedure. He was gentle and just plain nice. After the exam,he wheeled my husband and me back to the viewing room,and explained everything he had seen. I knew then,that I had met an exceptional Physician. I was an RN for more than 40 years,and I have had the pleasure of working with docs that are "angels",and some that are "good" ,and some that are just unpleasant jerks. ( Just like in any profession). Dr. Goldblatt is definitely in the Angel category. I had my next myelogram by another doc at ARA . He was also nice, I received some sedation,and I cannot complain about his care. He just didn't have the same personality as Dr.Goldblatt. Soooo,several years go by,and I have to have another myelogram. I requested Dr. Goldblatt, and thankfully I was able to have him do it. Same scenario,gentle,kind,ZERO discomfort. He got my husband,and again wheeled me back to the viewing room,and explained EVERYTHING. So,a couple of years go by. I need another myelogram. My insurance has changed. I have to use a Seton facility. Apparently ARA docs rotate through Seton facilities. I request Dr. Goldblatt,but they were not able to schedule me with him. I worked at Seton for 33 years. I figured that it couldn't be too horrible,since I had already had 3 of these procedures. Two were 5 stars, 1 was 4 stars. Well, this was a 0 -1 star( for the physician). The nurse that assisted gets a 3.5. I arrive after being NPO all morning. I am prepared for the exam. I ask if I am going to get some sedation. The nurse looks at me like I'm crazy. I am told that I don't need any sedation. Hmmmm. I wonder why when I've already had 3 of these studies that I was given some sedation,that only at Seton Williamson,that I'm told it is not necessary?. So I get on the table.I am positioned, and then I am told that the physician is running a bit late. I stayed on that table for what seemed to be an eternity. It was probably 20 minutes or so,but since I was having this particular study,guess what? It felt like YEARS. He finally shows up. During the procedure he and his assistant had a very enjoyable conversation about his weekend plans,and blah blah blah. After the procedure I was in some pretty bad pain. The nurse was able to get an order for a hydrocone. This was after I was taken to recovery. My taking one hydrocodone made my discharge time extend for one hour. Just a horrible experience. I just want to point out the differences in a Physician that CARES about his patients,and one that has become jaded after an apparently short time in practice. Dr Goldblatt should give lessons to those that are contemplating a career in medicine. He wins my vote for Radiologist of The Universe! Dr. Goldblatt was asked to re-review a CT study for a specific diagnosis one of my doctors had made. His impression was that there was no imaging evidence found for the condition in question. However, when my images are compared to a normal image for the same body part, an untrained eye can easily see that there are significant abnormalities. I further looked for images of the condition documented by reliable sites and saw scans nearly identical with my images. Feels like he didn't even try.

Today was the first time meeting Dr. Goldblatt. I have never been so impressed with a doctor. He has a wonderful personality and bedside manor. Extremely proficient in what he does,but aside from that,he is a most caring and compassionate person with his patients and their personal needs. I can't thank him enough for what he has done for me. Bless you, Dr. Goldblatt.
