Dr. David B. Fulton

First appointment their I-pad didn’t send the information I just spent 15 minutes filling out to the front desk so they took other later arrivals back for their appointments before me even though I had turned the I-pad back in. Then I had to sign paperwork for treatment because the information I put in the I-pad couldn’t be found, however when finally taken back by the nurse, all the information was sitting on the computer screen as he asked me questions. After this appointment I called to get a follow up appointment 3 weeks later I had not heard back from them. Took me physically going to the office to get someone to talk to me. 2nd appointment started out ok. The inner lobby to the office was small and full so I sat in the outer lobby. No one ever came out to call me back and they shut and locked the office door. After knocking on the door someone came and let me in and stated I didn’t know anyone was out there waiting. Was finally called back to room and proceeded to sit for 30-40 minutes waiting on the doctor. My appointment was at 10:50 at 12:00 still had not been seen. I left the appointment and will not go back. First visit for my daughter was disappointing to say the least. We arrived on time , she completed the life long answers required at check in and turned the portal back in. We sat as we watch one by one patients coming in after us being taken back. My daughter went up to the desk to inquire why she had not been called back and was asked if she completed the questionnaire on the portal at check in. She told them yes. They told her it didn’t save anything and she had to do it again. Then before giving her the portal back they called her back. She was sitting on the exam table while being asked questions she saw on the screen that all her answer were right in front of them. She was not seen by Dr. Fulton but by a NP. Today she goes back and checks in as normal the waiting room was packed so we sat in the lobby as many do when room is crowed. After an extensive wait she walks back to check on her wait and the door is closed and locked. Yep never called her just locked us out. After knocking on the door someone opened it. We sat again waiting. Finally being called back to a room we waited again. Finally beyond upset we asked for our co pay and was going to leave. We were told we had to go thru billing to get our co pay back. Not at all concerned that we were upset they let us leave. We cannot rate Dr. Fulton because we never got to see him after two appointments set. But we can rate the office and the operation of the office. For someone that is a single parent that works and has to take off from work to go to the doctor this is beyond acceptable. If you had an injury or any issues with your hands. Search no more. Dr. Fulton is God sent. I know him for many years and when I had my injury and saw that therapy didn't work. I looked for him. His medical staff is awesome! God bless.

Dr. Fulton is an excellent surgeon and has a great bedside manner.

Dr Fulton has cared for several of my family members for years. He is caring, patient and very very capable.

Well my primary Dr. send a referral on June 15. I have call every day of the week and no answer so I left a few voicemails and no answer. So I can suggest to try to get another Dr. that actually the personal at least have the courtesy of returning your call to be able to schedule an appointment.

He did carpal tunnel and trigger finger surgery for me. Great staff, great doctor.

Absolutely horrific doctor! Makes decisions based on his pride instead of what’s in the best interest of his patients. I will never allow him to be part of my care team. In fact he’s another reason we are moving away to get a good orthosurgeon to help me.

I am here to let people know that Dr Fulton is an awesome doctors and surgeon, I have other people who knows Dr Fulton and they have nothing but high praises of accolades for Dr Fulton, which in turn reassured me and how he was going to take care of me I'm very pleased with the surgery it is only going to take time to get better and faith in God but as far as the surgery and as far as a doctor, Dr Fulton in my opinion is not only a good person but a very fine surgeon. First of all, Dr. Fulton's team is exceptional. They are always prompt in returning phone calls and compassionate in caring for patients. They do their best to get you in as soon as possible if you are in pain. Dr. Fulton himself is a very kind doctor, good at listening, and compassionate. He has a very easygoing bedside manner. I turned out to be an unusual patient and presented with some unexpectedly abnormal anatomy in my hand he had never seen before. Of course, no one knew that was there until he actually operated on me. But he did an amazing job. Even with the unexpected obstacles, I healed much faster than expected and my scars are barely visible. He has worked on both of my wrists and both of my elbows now. Dr. David Fulton is absolutely wonderful he restored the use of my wrist 10 years ago. He told me that it would be the same and in the beginning I did not believe him because I knew what was clacking and clicking, but he called it correctly! I have normal use of my wrist and hand and he took care of my carpal tunnel while he was operating, so I got two procedures for the price of one! Excellent. Dr. Fulton rebuilt bone and repaired nerve damage to my sons hand after a gun accident. It is miraculous and the gifting of surgery that Dr. Fulton has that restored his hand today to full use. He was kind, compassionate, and brilliant. Can't say enough.

Dr Fulton is the BEST! He took the time to fully explain my injury & offered solutions. Surgery was necessary & he was awesome. Follow up visits were quick & easy. He & the staff were very professional & caring. I would highly recommend him!

Did not get past the incompetent staff, even with appointment arranged and coordinated three weeks earlier. Clerk informed me upon arrival they “had problems on their end” with insurance coordination. He offered a potential appointment a week later stating they needed that much time to “work these thing’s out”.

Dr. Fulton repaired both my shoulders. He was very personable and did an excellent exam. He listened to me and the problems I was having and didn't just go by the MRI results. My outcome was excellent.

I had to make an emergency appointment in between two visits because of the level of pain I was in. Without trying to figure out why I was in pain he dismissed me by saying there was no reason for me to be in pain and then congratulated me on living a normal life with a congenital birth defect.

Great bedside manner. Extremely knowledgable. I was referred by many other physicians that he's the "go to guy."

Dr. Fulton did a great job of repairing a tricky broken joint on one of my fingers. Was very personable with me for the consultation, explained the different options, got me in quickly. Surgery was fast and efficient, and since I just had a local block (my choice), was able to talk with him during the surgery. Had a deep tear in my shoulder(rotator cuff) went to see a doctor about it and was given the immediate diagnosis of surgery to repair the cuff from the beginning of the surgery Dr.fulton came in and started screaming about my medicine intake without knowing anything about me or n my medical background two back surgeries and a constant battle with the pain of disk degenerative disease.this Dr didn't even know who i was on my first visit after the surgery no compassion and no old fashion bed side manners! David Fulton, MD was excellent. My 23 year old daughter had a fracture-with-dislocation of the radius about an inch from the wrist. Dr. Fulton offered the choice of reduction (setting the bone) or surgery. With one very skillful maneuver, he set her arm. He was careful to hold her arm after the set and wrap it, not releasing the point of fracture until it was securely casted. I honestly believe we were extremely fortunate to have been in his care; I think many doctors would have not trusted their skill to set it and would have recommended surgery as the only option. He communicated clearly and was not rushed. His focus on doing good work was ever-present. As my daughter said, "Some people are meant to be doctors." David Fulton, MD was excellent. Took my daughter to see him b/c she was referred for arm pain. He was rude and arrogant, yet he could not answer any of my questions. He did not have any bedside manners. Just dismissed her pain and other symptoms she was having. He stated he had nothing to offer. Highly disappointed.

Dr. Fulton was highly recommended when my daughter broke bones in her elbow. He was honest, professional and yet very down to earth. She was able to return to tumbling within 6 months after her surgery. Almost two years later and she's perfectly fine.

Dr. Fulton is the man! I went to see him after having wrist pain for a few months. He identified a wrist tumor for me and performed a surgery to remove it successfully. My life is totally different being able to use my wrist at 100% now. The recovery was quick and the scar healed up really nicely. I liked that he was such a down to earth guy, who is easy to talk to and didn't mind answering my many annoying questions about the whole process. Highly recommended!

DR Fulton is hands down the best hand and shoulder Doc on the east cast he has done two different hand surgery for me and a hand and full shoulder replacement on my 68 year old mom and had minimal pain and supper quick recovery time thank you DR Fulton

Was a patient of Moore Orthopedics 17 years. The last two years the quality of care has gone from excellent to extremely poor. Would highly recommend Lexington Orthopedic and Sports Medicine if you are in need of a good ortho practice, who hires nurses, respects your time, and takes your health concerns seriously.
