Dr. Ewalt himself is fine (that’s why the review gets 1 star) but Darlene on the other hand is very unprofessional. I called ahead of my appointment time to let the staff know that I was running 15 mins late. The line was busy for 5 mins and then I waited on the line for 15 mins before someone picked up. The person I spoke with checked with Dr. Ewalt’s nurse to make sure if it was ok if I still came and the answer was yes so I proceeded to go to my sons appointment. Mind you I don’t live close so that’s why I called to double check. As I’m coming up the elevator at 3:30 (only 15 mins late as mentioned) I get a call from Darlene stating that the doctor already left and not to come anymore because it’s past the cut off time. The door the the was locked so I knocked and Darlene answered. Not only did she have an attitude but she proceeded to argue with me and threatened to fight me in the hallway before slamming the door shut!!! Unprofessional and I will be filing a complaint and I will NOT be rescheduling my sons appointment or recommending this place to anyone else! OMG, such a cool and pleasant doctor. Our appointment was at 8:45 am and usually with early appointments I prepare myself for anything. And we are new patients. Some people take a few hours to be ready and happy to serve. Not the case with Dr David and his team. They were ready to serve with happy friendly attitudes and smiles. Sometimes with doctor's offices I have found that the doctors may have good bedside manners and be friendly and their front office personnel not so much. Dr Ewalt's entire team was very friendly and helpful - a consistent caring patient service by all, it matters to me. And I got all of that. Most unprofessional doctor I have ever met!

If your son has hypospadias DO NOT take him to Dr. Ewalt. Go see Dr. Snodgrass. Dr. Ewalt operated on my son and did a terrible job. It took three more surgeries to correct what he had done.

He is very professional always smiling and gives hope, he saved my son live, I recommend him as the best doctor I ever seen

I can’t give enough praise for Doctor Ewalt. His bedside manner is terrific, and he put all my concerns about my son at ease. He throughly explains procedures and medical information to where it is easily understood. He also gave me his cell phone number and answered right away when I had a question. Excellent treatment and results. Dr. Ewalt treated my son when he was 6 for an enlarged testicle. He was warm and funny as he explained the procedure. He was caring and thoughtful for our son...explaining everything to him at his level. I recommend Dr. Ewalt highly.

We have seen the Dr many times, each time he hardly lets us speak. I don't feel listened to at all. the only thing he has ever offered is doing a log. (we have done one now 4 times) each time we return we some how end up meeting with the NP for "results", not him, we leave with no NEW answers or help. Each visit costs hundreds of dollars. He is very dismissive of any concerns, and we find his bedside manner very fake.

Best Doctor Ever! He is knowledgeable . His approach and reasoning is impeccable . From the time he enters the room till you checkout he makes sure you are taken care of.

Dr. Ewalt is fabulous! He is beyond professional and goes above and beyond in the care process. He took excellent care of our newborn starting even before birth, provided his personal cell phone number for emergencies, and checked in with us routeinly prior to and after surgery. He also touched base with our whole team of doctors regularly to make sure everyone was consistently in the loop on the best care for our child. During the actual surgery he walked us through the whole process and made it as stress free as it could have been. I couldn’t recommend him enough!! Dr. Ewalt is fabulous! Very friendly staff. Dr. Ewalt was excellent with my 15yr old. Explained everything very well, and we came away feeling better given her condition.

I have known Dr. Ewalt for a number of years. This was my first time, however, that I needed to use his services. Our baby boy was treated like a king. Dr. Ewalt is very professional, kind and caring. Great bedside manner and makes you comfortable. That's a big deal when your kids need help.

DR Ewalt performed my 6 month old son’s circumcision and I can not recommend him enough. We were unable to get him circumcised as a newborn so my OBGyn recommended Dr Ewalt and I’m so glad he did. He and his team took excellent care of my son from the first consultation through post op care. Thank you!

Dr. Ewalt and his staff were amazing with my son! They answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with my sons condition.

Great experience!

Dr Ewalt disagreed with my autistic child's previous diagnosis, several reoccurring, was not interested in further testing and suggested the real problem could be cured by a psychologist. We will never recommend him, he needs some serious special needs/autism training. A horrifying experience.

My son who was 8 months old had circumcision adhesions. Our pediatrician said he would have to be re-circumcised again. I was terrified for my son to go through that at his age so I started researching other doctors for a second opinion. That's when I came across Dr. Ewalt. Thank God I found him because Dr. Ewalt took one look at my son and said he didn't need surgery and prescribed a steroid cream to loosen the adhesions. The adhesions are now gone and no surgery was needed. This Dr is awesome.

Dr. Ewalt is one of the best doctors in his field. He's focused, direct and incredibly knowledgeable. He handles some of the most challenging cases. I have trusted him with my son's care since he was 3 years old when diagnosed with kidney cancer. He is an outstanding doctor in every way.

Dr. Ewalt was and is an EXCELLENT urologist. He went above and beyond my expectations for treating my daughter. He came highly recommended and now I highly recommend him to any parent who has a child with urology related issues.
