Dr. David James Evans

I met with him the morning of July 16th, 2017. The initial appointment was for an 11-week pregnancy check-up. Unfortunately, on the morning of July 13th I had a miscarriage. There was a clot the size of an apple that had been discarded. When we met with Dr. Evans, he asked me why we were there. I was shocked that he had to ask and, in my mind, questioned if he had even looked at my chart. I then told him that I had a miscarriage and showed him the picture that I took for reference. He said “Well, we don’t know if that’s what happened.” I told him that yes, we do know. He then went on to get us an ultrasound to confirm, because "he didn't know." At the end, he told me to "just get over it." I pray that he does not work with another woman who has experienced this loss as I feel that he will cause more harm than good. He is not compassionate or comforting. He was all too cold and technical, like he wanted the appointment to be done and over with.

Use to be AMAZING, then he joined a his new practice and you became a nunber instead of a patient.

He is a condescending jerk who cannot tell a baby's head from its butt. He told me (after an exam) that my baby's head was down, good to go. Turned out to be breech. He also made me feel like an idiot every time I went in.

He performed surgery on me and I say he did a great job with the surgery but my only problem is i feel like I should have stayed in the hospital a little longer to be watched over a little longer then 2 days but i recoverd well so far and he could be a little more friendly with the patients. But im thankful

He is a jerk with horrible bedside manners. If you disagree with him he treats you like you're an idiot. He illegally dropped me from his practice with no OB when I was 39 weeks pregnant (high risk also) because I couldn't do a cesarean that was scheduled 3 days before the date he was doing it because my older child was in school and he was going on vacation! Then when I tried to reschedule the appointment refused to see me leaving me without an OB.
