The neurosurgery staff at Crouse Hospital needs to be replaced by Eng's staff. Crouse doesn't have monitors in their patients rooms. How are you supposed to be shown your mri? 1 year after Soults did surgery on my uncle, he fell at physical therapy and died. One of Moquins patients was a mother with a neck strain from carrying her children. She was a receptionist at his clinic (crouse medical practice PLLC) and wore a lace turtle neck to cover up the cosmetic disaster that resulted from surgery. She no longer works there and has since filed medical malpractice suit against croglio and moquin. This practice has since closed, and now croglio works alone under the name CNY Internists, what does that tell you? I hope Eng, Montgomery, and Nolan can make some changes when they get there, because Crouse needs more than just resources. They need physicians.

Dr. Eng performed a 4 level ACDF After sos butchered me and misdiagnosed me. Dr. Eng is worth any wait time you may Think is unusual . He did no damage !

The office manager is the most heartless, rudest woman I have ever met!!!!!!

Leave here in tears every time I come. Office staff extremely rude and unorganized. Never return phone calls. Dr ran 45 min behind today not only am I still here 3 hrs after appt waiting on paper work ...i got a $30 parking ticket while in exam rm!

Dr Eng is the upmost best neurosurgeon possible. I have chiari malformation type 2 and he did all the research and best way to pursue this terrible disease. It brings tears to my eyes Bc if I never had gone to dr Eng and had my chiari decompression surgery September 19th 2017 I would have been dead before or after bc he is the one who saved my life and I had a tbone car accident December 30th 2018 and the neurosurgeon said he wanted to shake the surgeons hand and tell him he is the reason why I’m still alive . Dr Eng performed surgery on my neck one week ago. Each and every encounter with this doctor has been above and beyond. Dr. Eng was caring, kind and patient from the first appointment . I feel so fortunate that my neurologist referred Dr Eng. The surgery went well and I felt informed through the process. His office staff did a great keeping me on track for the surgery. This review is for Dr. Eng's office staff, not Dr. Eng himself. But Dr. Eng should take this review seriously, as your office staff also represents you and your success as a doctor. Because I will never go back to this office due to their treatment. For one thing, they were very unprofessional when I went for the appointment. I waited more than an hour and the whole time the office staff just acted unprofessionally, more like social hour than a doctor's office. Then after the appt. I asked for my MRI CD back and the receptionist responded as if I forgot it somewhere. I said no, you had it. Then she found out it was half way across the hospital still and pleaded like a baby for another secretary to get it. I waited 10 minutes for them to bring it to me. Dr. Eng referred me to see a neurologist, so the office staff said to wait a week to hear about an appt. A whole month of me calling and checking for the referral went by, they kept giving me the run around..."IT must be in the pile of referrals, we have so many referrals to do" etc. I asked for them to check and make sure and she would not, she said it was not her job and the referral person was out. This same conversation happened many times. Then I find out the office that the referral was sent to did not accept workers comp and Dr. Eng's office sent referral to another place without telling me. Then I find out the other place doesn't accept workers comp either, but Dr. Eng's receptionist refused to listen to what I learned and would not speed up the process by actually finding an office that accepts workers comp before sending the referral. I've actually given up and have decided to ask my primary care doctor to refer me instead. If you go to Dr. Eng's office be prepared for the worse office etiquette and waiting time. Dr. Eng himself is a highly skilled surgeon; the neck surgery that he did for me in 2014 was a true life-changer. And he is a very pleasant person, too--not at all the prima donna personality that one finds in other surgeons. His office, however, has to be the worst-run medical operation in the universe--and, if there's another universe somewhere, my statement would still be true. It's not so much a matter of rudeness (though I've encountered a little of that) but rather a matter of incompetence in the basics of communication. My prime example: I was scheduled for back surgery on Nov. 2, 2017. This had been set up back in June, which gave me time to make arrangements with my employer for a medical leave; my employer, in turn, made arrangements to cover for what was anticipated to be a long absence. And my wife made the decision to retire from her job, so that she could be home to take care of me after the operation. A week before the surgery, I went for my pre-admission testing, and was told by the receptionist in that office that not only my appointment but also my surgery had been canceled by the surgeon's office--without ever telling me. It turned out that they'd finally gotten around to looking at my test results (which had been on hand for months) and decided I need a different surgery. I don't think I want to follow through with the surgery now proposed--and I could have made that decision had I been properly informed back in June. In the meantime, though, things are all messed up at my job, for no reason, and my wife no longer has a job. Fouling up people's lives like this is inexcusable--especially when it all could have been prevented by timely and responsible communication. In sum: if you get on an operating table and put yourself in Dr. Eng's hands, you probably couldn't do better in the Syracuse area. But that also involves putting yourself in the hands of Dr. Eng's office--in which case, may God help you! I had back surgery with Dr. Eng 6 months ago and highly recommend him.

Dr Eng is a genious, we need more doctors like him, Dr Eng have a great team, My name is Javier I am very please with Dr Eng.

I had an appointment with him but instead he called me and said he is ordering 3 more mris based on the information he received from my pcp. So I didn’t even have to show up for the appt! How cool is that?!

Doctor Eng did my wife's triple cervical fusion. Other surgeons refused to operate because of the close proximatey to her spine . During the operation he found several very pronounced bone spurs that were pushing on her spine and a nerve bundle. These did not show on her MRI. Dr Eng removed these during the surgery. My wife can now live a normal life instead of living with severe pain everyday. Thanks to Dr Eng he was the only surgeon that would take on her surgery. I can not thank him enough.

I waited for over an hour past my scheduled appointment time. The nurse that brought me into the room to wait for the doctor apologized for the wait and then told me that they had 5 patients with the same appointment time., I end up waiting longer each time and it is frustrating since patients have to park in the garage and the longer you wait in the office, the more it costs to park. tired of being there for so long to be in and out in about 5 minutes once the dr comes in.

Dr. Eng is a top neurosurgeon who takes time to explain things and make his patients feel comfortable with the procedure.

Dr eng is one of the best but the problem is after surgery , ive been having problems need to talk to him but get stuck with pa and he pretty much did nothing inresponse to my problems and he made my next appoint 4 months away ,called trying to get back in and they said they would get back to me , follow up after surgery is pretty much non exsistant they never called back . i think the problem is to many patients to deal with.wish i went somewhere else!

I have all the confidence in the world in Dr. Eng. He did my back surgery- February, 2015 and my recovery is astonishing. He is the best neurosurgeon in Syracuse- hands down! If you want the best results then go to the the best, Dr. Eng!!!!
