Dr David Eells saved my life in 1987. I had an intestinal aneurysm. Flew me to Beckley Regional had an image taken them back to Welch for surgery. That's been 33 years ago. Great surgeon.

does not even examine you, goes reads the internet to treat you. takes advantage of disabled by having billing office in beckley wv double or triple bill you
Dr. Eells is one of the best doctors at Welch Community Hospital. He takes the time to make sure that all of my questions are answered and He provides exceptional care. He was the only doctor who actually listened to what my issues were and made sure to ask questions about what was going on. I have 4 doctors that I think are some of the best at Welch but he is my #1 to go to.
Rude! Hateful! Smart ass! No compassion!! I had a family member that he told her she had gall stones. He humiliated her to no end because of her weight. She is obese, and he could have talked to her about it, but instead he raised his voice so as to everyone around could hear and degraded her beyond belief! He needed his mouth shut up for him, he said he couldnât do surgery on her laparoscopic because she was to big. He said heâs have to cut her open. I k ow better than that because I know people larger than her who had it done laparoscopic. Very rude, VERY!! No compassion!!
