Dr. David S. Edelman

Having been told by another surgeon that I would need open surgery and an overnight hospital stay, Dr Edelman performed robotic laparoscopic surgery an an outpatient basis. Recovery was swift and I didn’t need anything stronger than acetaminophen. Even that wasn’t really necessary. Dr Edelman is super-nice and super-competent and has my strongest recommendation.

I went in to see Dr. Edelman for a consultation in regards to a abdominal hernia. The staff was friendly, I was seen within minutes of my arrival, and Dr. Edelman was great, he explained the procedure, and was attentive, great care professional.

Staff was exceptional and Dr Edelman was great. Very knowledgeable and detailed.

Staff was very attentive and addressed insurance issues promptly. Dr. Edelman was very professional, all of questions were answered in layman’s terms, his attitude was not at all smug as it is with some doctors.

Well run office. Everything ran smoothly and promptly. Staff was professional and courteous. Dr Edelman couldn’t have been nicer. He took the time to explain my situation, answer my questions and provide me with his advice. Overall very good experience.

I recently went to see Dr. Edelman for the first time. Fortunately, my whole visit was a nice experience. I did not have to wait long in his comfortable waiting room with nice art work on the walls. He was very thorough on his exam of me, and was he very polite in fully answering all of my questions. His office staff were courteous and helpful in getting me processed in and out. In addition, I truly like the location of the building where his office is located on Galloway Rd. (SW 87th Ave.) as it is new, modern with lots of parking. Everyone was very kind and courteous. This was a new experience for me visiting a surgeon and everybody made me feel very comfortable.

THE BEST. Dr. E did not operate on me because he's conservative and doesn't recommend surgery unless it's actually needed. He didn't keep me waiting at all. Yet he took his time with me. Also he came prepared - he had reviewed all of my records, CT scans, etc. before I arrived. Lovely man, total gentleman, and if I ever do need a general surgeon, I will choose him for sure. THE BEST. My wife and I ended up in Doctor Edelman's care for two completely different medical reasons. From the very beginning, Dr. Edelman addressed all the questions and concerns we had and rather than telling us what to do, he took the time to work with us to help us through in addressing our health concerns. He and his highly professional staff, specially Mary, went out their way to make sure all our questions and concerns were addressed thus making sure we all were on the same page and comfort zone for the medical procedures needed, which were also highly successful. Dr Edelman participated in a procedure with another surgeon and although he didn’t deemed it necessary to perform his part of the surgery he still personally checked up on my post op 3 times within 24 hours and I never saw a bill. I was recommended Dr. EDELMAN by my primary doctor and couldn't be happier that I was able to see him. Dr Edelman is very caring, compassionate and takes his time to explain how he will be proceeding with the treatment. The staff is awesome and very professional.

Couldn’t be more thrilled to have found Dr.Edelman! I have been searching for over a year to find the right surgeon to repair my multiple hernias and diastasis recti resulting from multiple c-sections. I was anxious to find a doctor who was knowledgeable about this surgery and ultimately to find an alternative option to plastic surgery. I was referred by my PCP and they initially thought it was a lipoma but had gotten worst and by the time I went to Dr Edelman it was a huge cyst that he immediately drained. He explained the procedure and explained what I could do to avoid anymore in the future and scheduled a follow up for the following week.
