Dr. David T Derrer

I am a caregiver of my father, and over the last year and a half I had lost faith in the medical field as it pertains to doctors; however yesterday Dr. Derrer saw my dad and provided such amazing care. It is a sad thing that it brought tears to my eyes simply because he was doing his job with compassion and empathy and full concern of my father's health. He even gave him a referral to see another doctor when I told him another specialist said he didn't need to go there. He asked questions, listened and ensured we understood. He is an urgent care provider I really wished he was a PCP. We need more like him. Thank you Dr. Derrer should you read this. You made a difference and gave me hope that there are move physicians like you.

The staff is friendly and the doctor Derrerwas great and informative. The wait was way to long 3+ hrs. I suggest making an appointment, i was a walkin because it was necessary. Got me feeling better in 24 hours! Thorough and thoughtful.

Went in feeling really not well on Monday night..after taking my vitals he recommended that I needed other tests that weren't available at Acworth Health Park so I needed to go to the ER. Dr Degree listened with care and concern and was very informative. Thankfully all the tests I had done at the ER were good.

Outstanding service and excellent facility. I have been there in numerous occasions for different issues and am always greeted and treated with respect in a timely and professional manner. Thank you for always providing great service.

Went in with stuffy nose, sore throat, coughing, sinus pressure and headache. Was diagnosed with TMJ syndrome. Was told to go see a dentist. Was given steroids and moltran. 2 days later I’m still coughing a lot, still have sinus pressure and headache. What a stupid diagnosis.

Very good listener! Waited for xray results to make any kind of decision. Wonderful and witty communicator.

Dr Derrer and the staff were wonderful in taking care of my injury. I had a nasty laceration from a chainsaw accident and Dr Derrer took his time making sure the laceration was clean and stitched. This was not an easy task but he made sure I was taken care of and took his time to do it.

I drive by a few other urgent cares to come to the one in Acworth. Everyone is always courteous and Dr. Derrer was excellent and very thorough. I was treated great despite in pain. Thank you

Dr. Derrer demonstrated kindness and compassion when caring for my son. He did a wonderful job putting the stitches in and explained every step of the process to keep my son calm. Wonderful experience!

So glad there's a closer Wellstar here. The urgent care is clean. The staff if very polite and courteous. The wait is reasonable for how many people were they at the time. Overall great experience. This is my new location.

Pleasant caring staff. Wait was long due to the season but they moved quickly and efficiently. Still treated you like you were important and did not feel like I was on an assembly line. Dr Derrer was a dear!

Came in for treatment of an infection and came away with no treatment - no medication (no antibiotics etc.) and a bleeding injury! Literally turned his back on my screams and bleeding infection! This was a first contact with Dr Derrer, I found him to be both pleasant, personable and well informed. He listened very attentively to my problem, and was very thorough with his diagnoses . He provided me with a full explanation as to why I was felling so poorly. I would definitely recommend this Dr.. This was Acworth Urgent care and their are no appointments

I have been seeing Dr.Derrer for about 10 months now and could not be any happier with the care and services provided by him and his entire staff.They always take the time to answer any questions and concerns as well as explain everything about diagnosis,medications as well as provide necessary referrals.they all take there time getting to know you and making you feel comfortable.I hope that he will be my Dr.for a long time to come,I highly recommend him and his caring staff.
