My first appointment was an interrogation along with him bashkng a previous doctor of mine. I then had lab work done with some serious results that needed to be discussed. Instead, he continues to interrogate me about past doctors and a previous drug screen performed that I did not sign any consent for. I am on methadone and this is why people with my background have a hard time telling PCPs because of the way they treat you. I wanted to address my lab results, I wasn’t there drug seeking like I am sure he presumed. His attitude made it very difficult for me to feel comfortable enough to explain my story. Also, lab results can be dealt with via phone call. 1 mo follow up was made to earn more $. You deserve someone who genuinely cares about your health, look elsewhere.

I went to see Dr Coia after my Dr who I saw for almost 40 yrs passed away unexpectedly. Dr Coia was very thorough, patient, & kind. He listened to all my questions & concerns & did not rush me. When I had questions concerning my medications & treatments after my 1st appt. Dr Coia & his secretary Carol got back to me right away the following morning. Carol is very kind & helpful. She explains everything & answers any questions or concerns you may have. I was very nervous having to find a new Dr in less than 2 weeks due to the unexpected passing of my Dr. They took me right in & have alleviated any anxiety I had while working though this process of establishing a new Pt./Dr relationship. It is hard to find a good Dr who will actually sit & listen to all your questions & concerns without feeling rushed or unheard. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an excellent family care Doctor to go and see him.

I went to see Doctor Coia after my PCP who I had been seeing for almost 40 years passed away unexpectedly. Doctor Coia was very thorough, patient, and kind. He listened to all my questions and concerns and did not rush me at all. When I had some questions concerning my medications and treatments later that day after the office closed I was able to send my concerns via ‘my chart’ app and he got back to me right away the following morning along with the secretary Carol. Carol is very kind and helpful. She explains everything and will answer any questions or concerns you have either in office or by phone. I was very nervous having to find a new Doctor in less than two weeks due to the unexpected passing of my last Doctor. They took me right in and have alleviated any anxiety I had while working though this process of establishing a new patient/Doctor relationship. It is hard to find a good Doctor who will actually sit and listen to all your questions and concerns without feeling rushed or unheard. This was not the case here. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an excellent family care Doctor to go and see him. He listens and responds with compassion and respect that few doctors have these days.

All around great practice, very responsive and really cares about patients needs. Also very accommodating for families and work schedules.

Dr Coia was very friendly on my first visit and showed that he really cares about his patients. He was on top of getting things done right away and I had a lot of problems. I thank him and his staff for making me feel welcomed and that they care

Was not able to answer any of my questions about my Crohn's disease. He said there is no research on it and all that is known it that it's contagious. It is NOT contagious and when I tried to explain this to him he just rolled his eyes. I told him I am taking anti-inflammatory meds. but they don't seem to been helping me. He then oddly recommends that I take Ambien telling me "recent research suggests this will solve your problem" I told him that is a sleeping aid. He did not make any sense.
