UNBELIVABLE. ie . NOT BELIEVABLE. I cant, don't and wont believe a word they utter nor entrust my care to them moving forward... fired

No patient follow up to check blood levels and son wound up in er due to valproic acid toxicity. No return phone calls or inpatient follow ups. Find another neurologist. There are plenty in Dallas.

I love Dr. David Chen! He is a great doctor. I love his receptionists. They are very professional and respectful to everyone. I love the way they treat me all the time!! May God continue to blessed them!! Keep up the good work everyone!!

I thought I would have a good experience being that I was referred by a great doctor but I was faced with horrible service from the moment I schedule appointment to trying to get my results and had run around for 3 days and was lied too stating no one was in office so I walked over there and everyone was there then office manger came out to speak as soon as I left then office wants to call and say doctor want a virtual visit ya ok not then they set me up for a eeg Friday to Monday morning tech came out Friday at 130 didn’t finish until 430 because camera connection didn’t work then comes out next day to get first reading only to find out nothing was recorded because batteries weren’t placed then stated two wires need to be replaced and they sorry they go out all time if that was case they should carry extra. I told girl just take it off I was done. This is the biggest hassle and mistake I ever made going to his office. Dr. Chen and Staff have been helpful, pleasant, thorough and nice. I am glad that I got connected with his office.

I was referred to Dr. Chen by my primary care physician. During this difficult Covid pandemic time, it was very convenient for me to see him virtually. Dr. Chen took the time to listened to me and found the cause the pain, that I endured for years. Thanks to Dr. Chen I have since had surgery and my pain is gone.

Very hard to get ahold of on phone, trying to get my results, always a recording

Dr. Chen really seems to care as he listens about his patients. I bring my Mom (70) to him who has dementia and she loves him. She thinks he is kind. I lik him b/c I listens to me and tries to offer solutions to our needs- as I'm my Moms caregiver. Sometimes those solutions are medication other times it's methods.

I am so thankful to my Primary Care Doctor for referring me to Dr Davd Chen. He is the best Neurologist I've had since the start of my seizures in 2008. He takes time to explain the medication I need to control my seizures, as well as what triggers them. He and his nurse, Mary always make me feel comfortable when discussing current situations that could easily trigger seizures, but has not. We have been going to Dr David Chen for over 10 years and we are so blessed. My sister has a rare neurological disease, he and his staff are always so patient and understanding with her. Dr. Chen is a wonderful doctor. He genuinely cares, and makes any problem I run into seem manageable. Under his care I've seen a huge improvement in my health and quality of life. Dr. Chen, is a great neurologist I've been going to dr. Chan for about 8 years maybe longer he has tried different types of medication to help me with my migraines but we finally found one that works very well. He listens to all my problems to make sure that he give me the best medication that is that works well with my condition. I just want to say thank him very much call his help and patience.

I was referred here by my ent. It was clear I was having a nerve issue and he was of no help. Wrote me a prescription obviously for no reason because as far as FMLA was concerned there was no diagnosis and nothing wrong with me! Zero stars if I could!

I have been seeing Dr Chen for many years. My husband needed a neurologist so he immediately went to him also as we trust what he says, his diagnostic and treatment skills.

Their office does not return phone calls & they frequently forget to change their voicemail that they are at lunch all day. Office staff is rude, very unprofessional. Dr Chen is a good doctor if you can get to him

I wish I could rate Dr. David Chen zero stars. I asked three times if the office was running late, and was told no. 50m after my appointment was scheduled (70m after I got there), I got ten minutes with him. He ignored the findings of the Urgent Care and refused to consider my general practitioner’s findings. Then he has the gall to say that I’m “falling asleep in class because I’m bored” when I’ve been told by 3 other doctors that it’s definitely a neurological or rheumatological problem that I’m scheduled to receive further testing for elsewhere. Take this feedback seriously - just because something is statistically unlikely doesn’t mean to you can discount the possibility. You insulted my intellect, wasted 1.5 hours of my time, and I cannot believe you are practicing with this kind of attitude. I wish I could rate Dr. David Chen zero stars. Very good Doctor, nice and explains things very well.

I have been seeing Dr Chen for 14+ years now and he is such a great doctor. He’s so friendly and personable. He has always made sure my treatment is exactly where it needs to be. I have never had any issues with him or his staff. I highly recommend him. I live in Plano next to a hospital that likely has several neurologists and drive 30 mins one way to see Dr Chen and I will continue to do so. I have been a patience of doctor Chen for 12years now. He is a doctor that I definitely trust with my health. Thanks Dr I really appreciate all this years of great service. I also thank all the receptionists for excellent service. They always have a great smile.

I’ve been taking my 97 year old grandmother to Dr. Chen for over 9 years and we are always satisfied with his diagnosis. I appreciate the fact that he doesn’t suggest unnecessary test. We usually only wait 5-10 minutes before her name is called. The staff, especially Mary is always polite. The waiting area is small, but clean.

I've been a patient of Dr. Chen's for 14+ years. I'm very pleased with the care I receive from him and his staff. My Ocular Migraine issues are non-existent with his care and new issues are handled immediately. I drive 1 hour and 40 minutes and have no plans to change.

I have been a patient of Dr Chin for over 15 years and trust him completely with my health and have referred him many times. His office staff are always helpful and work with all your needs. His staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr Chin always takes time to talk to you and make you feel like your needs are very important to him and you never feel rushed or as if he is in a hurry. Dr. David Chen - Excellent Doctor, Listener, Gets your medical history, Review them and gives details of what he is going to do, Believes in running necessary test or medication if needed. Second visit, get results and goes over them with his patients. At the follow up visit he make sure you're at 100% and healthy before he releases you. He gives his business card and tell you to please call back it it's needed and thanks you for your business. I have/will continue to refer family and friend

I have been a patient of Dr Chen for 14+ years now. He is an excellent doctor and a very nice person. I couldn’t imagine seeing anyone else. I drive 30 minutes in from Plano and live right next to a hospital with plenty of neurologists. I have recommended him to people I know, and will continue to do so any time someone needs a neurologist. His staff is great as well

I have been a patient of Dr. David CHEN for 20+ years. He is compassionate while intently listening to properly evaluate your needs. Dr. CHEN was the only physician who took the time to give me a thorough workup and definitively diagnose my conditions. He and his competent professional staff will coordinate with your other doctors, making sure you have the best treatment possible. Dr. CHEN’s bottom line is your wellness and quality of life. I would highly recommend his practice.

I never even made it to the appointment due to the receptionist presenting barrier after barrier to schedule an appointment. The requirements they had to schedule an appointment was clearly a local procedure as the next place I called scheduled me for the following day.

Dr Chen is very nice, but his staff is just dreadful.

Dr. Chen is one of the most thoughtful and professional physician's that I have ever encountered. While interviewing my 86 year old aunt, Dr. Chen created an atmosphere of trust and compassion resulting in a comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis for my aunt's condition. I will be forever grateful for the care provided by Dr. Chen, as he is thoughtful, a great listener, patient and efficient.

After three visits to the office and waiting more than an hour each time, I am getting a new doc. The office doesn't return phone calls. The doctor spent no more than 3 minutes with me. I felt like I was on an assembly line.

Dr. Chen is a great doctor who have treated me with my back problem. He is very thorough and gives patient clear treatment plans. He is one of the best neurologists in town. I will trust him with my families and friends.

Exceedingly poor customer service.

A Dr. that make you feel like a friend and not just a patient

His staff does not answer the phone or return phone calls. When they do answer the phone, they then promptly put me on hold, then after 8 minutes they hang up. When I call back, I get voicemail. I am yet to receive a call back after a week. I cannot recommend ever doing business with this man or his staff.

Dr. Chen is a great doctor. Very smart. Has genuine personality. Very thorough. I recommend him highly.
