Always very kind, caring and knowledgeable an asset to his profession.

I have been seeing dr Carmack for many years. He is friendly,let's me settle down so I am not nervous. Is professional and has done surgery for ingrown toenails successfully. I thought I might need that again but he only had to do some other procedures & it was not needed. I highly recommend him for any of your foot problems!

Easy to get an appointment. Saw Dr Carmack about a toe problem. He listened and suggested possible treatments. Very good experience.

Dr. Carmack is awesome. So is his staff. He truly cares about his patients. My husband and I both go to him.

Dr. Carmack is one of the best doctors I have ever met! He is a genius and he is kind, knowledgeable, and patient!

Dr. Carmack is a awesome doctor. Would highly recommend him & his staff to anyone. Everyone at his office is very kind & compassionate. This was my first visit to Dr. Carmack & will definitely be returning.

I like doctor Carmack. Very professional but personable at the same time and cares about me.

My 86 year old husband sees Dr Carmack. He went in to get his toes nails trimmed. Dr Carmack talked to us about the problems my husband is having. As soon as the appt was over, the doctor said he was calling our primary care doc. Then Dr Carmack ordered medication and a home health visit for therapy. My husband is doing so much better. Dr Carmack went above and beyond. I can’t say how much he is appreciated. He’s a wonderful and caring doctor.

I can’t say anything short of another totally awesome visit ! All of the staff are so friendly and caring. I wish I had all of my doctor needs met by Dr Carmack. He is such a kind , caring, calm, very knowledgeable Dr. His smiling disposition lights up the room ! He fixed my issues once before , and once again. I never once was rushed , he answered every question I had. Thank you Dr. Carmack ! You will always have my business and many more I will refer you to !

My husband went to him twice. Both times he felt like the doctor didn't take his foot problems seriously. He didn't take xrays or offer any reasonable solutions for a painful bunion. My husband's toe was broken and he didn't do anything. The toe is now crooked and gets ulcers where it rubs on the adjacent toe. Luckily we found a good podiatrist in Marble Falls who has been excellent. My husband went to him twice. Both times he felt like the doctor didn't take his foot problems seriously. Friendly doctor and staff. Always feel comfortable and safe in the environment.

I have had nothing but a positive experience with Dr Carmack. He sits down and explains everything to you. After my surgery I have gotte. Excellent care from him and his staff. There is nothing negative to say

I went to see Dr. Carmack for the first time as I was experiencing extreme heel pain. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained in simple terms the bones and muscles involved. We discussed my recent activities to pinpoint the likely cause. He outlined a multi-step procedure consisting of chucking my old and worn out sneakers, ortho inserts for my new sneakers and shoes, new slippers with ortho inserts, stretching exercises when first getting up in the morning or from sitting on the couch in the evening watching TV, and a Z-pack of steroids' (which I chose over a shot). With 48 hours the sharp pain was gone and in two weeks I was good as new. I found the whole process smooth, the Doctor extremely knowledgeable and personable, and the whole office staff very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this doctor! Dr. Carmack was treating me for a diabetic ulcer on my foot. He discovered that I had decreased blood flow on my left leg. After tests, it turned out I had a 50% blockage in the artery running down my left leg. Subsequently I had surgery and the blockage was removed and I now have full blood flow in that artery and my diabetic ulcer on my foot is now healing. Dr. Carmack most likely saved my life by discovering my condition so I could get help. Dr. Carmack was treating me for a diabetic ulcer on my foot. As a retired medical professional, i want to highly recommend Dr Carmack to anyone who needs a podiatrist. He took excellent care of a friend during several emergency hospitalizations and i have recently gone to him for a foot problem. He is always a professional, knowledgable and extremely caring physician. Best foot doctor I’ve ever had.

My name is Mark Venghaus. I met Dr. Carmack after a visit to the emergency room at Ascension Seton Highland Lakes in Burnet TX. I was very impressed with him as person and his knowledge as a physician. All of the nurses and staff spoke very highly of him and his skill as a surgeon. I am 63 years old and have never had surgery or spent time in a hospital. Dr Carmack and his team assured me that I would be taken care of completely and I was certainly not disappointed. He is a good man and competent physician/surgeon. I have nothing but good to say about him, the nurses, his surgical staff, and the whole hospital experience. I would and have recommended both Dr Carmack and the Seton Hospital in Burnet to anyone who will listen. I owe you Doc. You are good people.

After seeing multiple podiatrists for my collapsed feet, I was told no one would operate on me except to amputate. Dr. Carmack listened carefully to my history. As he examined my feet, he told us everything he was thinking and recommended surgery. One foot became severely infected before surgery. Dr. Carmack performed 2 surgeries on that foot and then corrected my other foot. I now wear regular shoes and walk well. His expertise, integrity and compassion make him the best doctor I’ve ever known.

Doc Carmack is great, he is very knowledgeable, attends medical conferences to expand his knowledge and has an awesome personality. I highly recommend him as your doctor.

Dave Carmack is a very personable and intelligent doctor. I have had foot problems as I have gotten older and he has prescribed orthotics and removed toes depending on the need. He is also a student of philosophy and Biblical studies if he has time to talk. He is a pleasure to know.

If you are in need of podiatry in any form there is no doctor in Texas that is a better choice than Dr. David Carmack! I thought he was so great during my first visit that I scheduled a major foot repair with him even knowing I would be driving all the way from Abilene many times. It was one of the better decisions of my life. I met many other patients and all of them also love Dr. David. His personality is perfect for what he does and he loves his patients! It's great to find a doctor who cares
