Dr. David J Beste

Not impressed at all. The second we walked in I felt judged just by the way he looked at us and sighed when he sat on his chair. He questioned the honesty about my sons symptoms (trouble breathing through his nose and something so swollen in his nose it prevents him from breathing). He made a snarky comment about dog hair on my son's pants (he had on black athletic pants and our dog has white hair and sheds a bit but nothing crazy). He then made a comment about the high school football team from the town we live in because they were state champs. He didn't have good things to say because his grandson went to one of our competitors. We left without him even addressing the issue at all and it still irritates me. He acted like we were a waste of his time. This guy thinks he's superior and you can tell. Would not recommend. He needs to retire and live on a boat, away from people.

Very easy to talk to and speaks in a level I can understand. Great bedside manner. You can tell he cares and is very knowledgeable. Has personally called me on several occasions when other doctors would have just had a nurse or other staff member call.

We visited Dr. Beste when baby was a few weeks old and really struggling with nursing painful latch. A lactation consultant thought he may be tongue tied. Beste said he was not and that most ties shouldn't be revised. At 3.5 months we finally found out he had very severe posterior tongue tie and lip tie. Upon research, Beste's methods for evaluating were not adequate for finding posterior ties which dramatically affect nursing, reflux, gas, swallowing and speech.

Dr. Beste, is extremely patient and listens to what we have to say and does a thorough check up, before he gives you the best options. Always very kind and gentle. We know we are in the safest hands.
