Dr. Benage, the nurses, and staff were wonderful. I’m only 43 and symptoms prompted my need for a colonoscopy so I was very nervous. The staff was caring and professional. I had concerns about the sedation but Lisa, who has been doing it for 28 years, was caring and reassuring quickly putting me at ease. The whole process was fast and painless. I highly recommend Dr. Benage and his great team at Gateway Gastroenterology!
Great doctor! Amazing nurses! Love this office! I have Crohn's disease, after moving to the area 9 years ago, one of the first things I needed to do was find a gastro doctor. I went to three different doctors and wasn't happy with any of them. My neighbor recommended Dr. Benage and I'm so happy with him. He takes time to explain things thoroughly, calms my fears and is patient with me when I have apprehension about certain treatments. He explains all the options. I've never felt forced to do a treatment I wasn't comfortable with. He's nudged me in the right direction when it was in my best interest, but not being pushy or making me feel senseless. Best of all, the office has on site infusion centers, so I can do my treatments in my own, comfortable room with a recliner and wifi. I have come to embrace that time as my 3 hours of quiet time. Not to be forgotten is the nursing staff. They are AMAZING!! Love all those ladies. They are very caring and really work with you in making you feel comfortable. Great doctor! Amazing nurses!
