Mr. David Loren Ball

I had just got the courage to leave my narcissistic husband. We were recommended to see David as a coparenting therapist by my childrens therapist. David took it upon himself to insist we work it out, I start planning family dates and go on a date once a week with my narcissist ex. My ex was using these sessions to take advantage of me, luckily I was firm and stood my ground, although I was still not in the right frame of mind from being beat down mentally for 13 years by him. My childrens therapist got wind of what was happening and stated he was not a couples therapist, only a coparenting therapist. She also said it was way too soon for me to date my ex, I had just left him. The session after this all got brought up, my childrens therapist thats in the same office must have said something. David abruptly ended the session when I did not agree to his crazy tactics. He told us he was not the right therapist for us and he was ending our file.

I wish I had seen these reviews prior to becoming his client. I agree with most, that he talks over you and spends the majority of the time talking about himself. I provided all of my information upon intake and when he provided me back a narrative of my information, it was mostly incorrect. I let him know. Four months into treatment and with full disclosure on my part, he told me he could not help me and that I needed to see a therapist who could. I was shocked. He knew my background and should have made this recommendation upon intake, not four months later. This set me back significantly. I would highly caution anyone who is considering utilizing his services.

This man is the biggest narcissist I’ve ever met. He spent the whole entire time talking about himself and even gave me a two page introductory letter about himself, his wife, children and grandchildren in great detail. He also proclaimed that he was very gifted...The entire time he just shoved his religious beliefs on me and bragged about his masters degrees in great length. I could hardly get a word in the entire hour. Such a waste.

He was terrible. He not only allowed but encouraged my ex wife to yell and bash me for an hour each session. He attacked my faith, and questioned my ability to parent because I didn’t share the same faith as him. It was clear that because I was not a Christian that he would not be willing to help me, but instead because my ex wife is, he was more than willing to use the six court mandated sessions to rip me apart. Absolutely no co parenting progress was made. Waste of time and money

This man just wants to talk about himself and does not care about the patient. He should know he is a narcissist. He is a counselor. My husband and I could not get a word in. He thinks he is so wonderful and wants to let you know that.

If only there was an option for 0 stars on here or even negative this therapist was so horrible where do I even start. First off I went in for a problem I was having and he completely throws all I have to say about my self out the window and immediately starts judging and trying to help with little to no knowledge of what my actual problem is then when I start to talk about my life plans he tells me they're no going to happen in a discriminating tone, and that's just the start he made life WORSE

This therapist is terrible. He was quick to judge openly. He did not listen to our needs. He did not plan to try to build patient trust. His practice of therapy in my opinion and our doctors opinion skirted the line of unethical. His plan is to fix a person without actually listening to them. Please protect your child (if they are the patient) and do not go to see him.
