No waiting- got right in, very friendly & professional — highly recommend!

I was referred by my Doctor to Dr. Arango's office . I am a retired veteran who us 100% disabled. Dr Arango refuses to see me because I had already had surgery on my shoulder. It is impossible for me to find the surgeon who did it because he was also in the military out of the state of Florida. I was told this is his policy they refused to allow me to speak with him so I could explain. Way to take care of your Veterans, its disgusting when you realize its not about taking care of folks its about making money and I'm apparently not worth his time. Enjoy your Freedom

Not helped at all waste of time

Going on 5 months waiting on paper to be filled and sent to my lawyer. Aweful service and slow doctor. Make you wish you were back in New york.

I wouldn’t even give him one star. I was working as an emt and went to arrango due to my back being injured on the job… this was in 2013, I ended up getting a second opinion and had to have surgery in 2017. I can no longer work as a emt or a firefighter because he didn’t think the injury was severe enough to fix.. QUACK!!! Run from this QUACK before he injured someone else

If I could give this office a zero I would. Staff at rhe front desk was rude. I did not see the Dr listed on the website. The office was a mess and I waited over an hour to be seen. Patients waited in the lobby of the bldg until it was your turn to be seen if rhere was more than 3 ppl in the dr's office. The lobby was hot. I am in the same boat as I did when I walked in. Dr. Arango is really professional and good at what he does. Jessica is the best physical therapist you can see if you’re in need of therapy after an accident. I definitely recommend this facility.

Worse dr.'s office. The assistants lost my medical MRI and CT Scans for full body examination of my lower back and shoulder. The Dr took no actions in trying to obtain the medical records provided to them. The assistant said it would take her too long to try to get into the system to see if they were loaded in the drs system data and got upset when I told her that was her job to do. Instead of assisting in trying to obtain the medical records they lost, they requested for me to leave the premises and find another dr. I further requested my medical file and they did not want to provide. The assistants were unprofessional. The Dr. was unprofessional as well by screaming at me to leave the premises while I'm in medical need after his assistants lost my medical records and their incompetence to find them. I wish there was a zero score! Very rude patronizing doctor. If you want real care do not go to him! He just wants to collect your money. He does not listen to your complaints of pain. Dr Arango has no confidence of his treatment plan and the waiting time is horrible.

Horrible visit with Dr.Arango, waited over a month get Orthopedic help. Comes into room does no more than touch my fathers arm and give it a few bends, no questions, no assessment, his plan is pain pills from here on out. No manners, no patience, Dr. Seemed annoyed and agitated with our questions and suggestions for further workup such as more imaging. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

Bad, bad business he practices, can’t even call it medicine. Took 2+ weeks for an appointment because he needed to look at xrays of my hip to make sure he could help. Office called back and said he felt like he could help, made the appointments then waited 2+ hours in the office only to be told he doesn’t do hips. No follow through.

Very professional. Would I use him again most definitely. Highly recommended.

I will NOT recommend him to anyone. He did surgery on my shoulder last September and at every post-o.o appt he refused to listen to my complaint that there was still something wrong. He continued to send me yo therapy and told me I was making progress as he expected. I demanded a second opinion and am scheduled for yet another surgery next week. He and most of his office staff are rude. He only once spent more than 3-5 minutes with me at an appt. Poor service. Poor care. No concern. Just money

I originally contacted Dr Arango,s office about August of 2017 because of shoulder and knee pain. I was treated with injections in my knee which did not work and to this day still have pain. When the question of shoulder pain was addressed and after x-rays and an MRI it was determined that I had a small tear of the rotator cuff and shoulder surgery should help the pain. I was scheduled for surgery on January 26, 2018 for repair of shoulder. Apparently after surgery was started Dr Arango determined for some unknown reason to this day that I was having trouble with my blood clotting. Surgery was canceled and I was sent home with the promise of rescheduling in 4 weeks. After I never heard from his office in that time frame I started calling and asking when surgery was to be rescheduled. I was told that surgery could not be rescheduled until I found out why blood did not clot. I believe it was up to Dr Arango to arrange for the blood work to find out what if anything was wrong., but was told by his staff I had to do so. I contacted my Doctor for testing and ALL tests came back as perfectly normal and no reason for blood not to have clotted. Then Dr Arango decided that perhaps it was due to me having gastric bypass in 2005. I knew that didn't make any sense but offered to give him name of my Dr at that time that performed bypass. I was told that was also my job. I asked what if I could not locate surgery records or doctor info and I was told {THATS YOUR PROBLEM}. I HEARD HIM SAY THIS WITH MY OWN EARS. If I go to a doctor it is their job to find out my information and not for me to have to play detective but I did get them records requested. and nowt Dr Arango had all info he needed. Repeated phone calls to Royal Palms Orthopaedics in Lake Wales have never been returned. I called on Monday April 24th. Told someone would return my call....never happened. Called Tuesday April 25th...told some one would return call...never happened. Called one last time on April 27th. Told some one would return my call and guess what. ..still no phone call. Maybe my money wasn't good enough for them or perhaps I wasn't the correct type of patient for them because I was not a workers comp case...who knows. I am now in the process of finding another ortho Dr that will value me as a patient. For anyone that reads this and you have had good results with this office then you were lucky. His bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. He is a good physician, but, has very little empathy for thosr of us with other medical conditions.

Susan from 2016 is right on the money! I felt like an inconvenience to him, spent over an hr waiting to get in rm & another 20 in the rm. Threw my arm around said i need an xray & cortisone shots bam done, Spent all of 5 min w/ me. Office looks like a hovel w/ threadbare rug 95% in waiting rm was wrkr comp patients i felt like i wanted to tell him hey your actually getting paid my hard earned $ can you have a little bedside manner! I asked about exercises for therapy-he said NO! Staff is GREAT!

Oh my goodness....Dr Arango has been a life changer for me.I started seeing him in2012.I couldn't hardly walk and he started giving me injections which lasts me for a year. He repaired my right shoulder you can't hardly see the scar.I couldn't even raise my arm before surgery.he really cares about his patients.his beside manner is impeccable.he is a perfectionist.he also repaired my left knee when I tore a ligament.wow what a difference that made. Dr. Arango and his staff are wonderful! Even though sometimes there is a bit of a wait, Dr. Arango gives you the time you need. He is very conscientious and has helped me greatly. The entire staff is quite competent. I highly recommend this practice!

I would have to hate someone to recommend Dr. Arango. Mainly sees Workman's Comp cases because no one in their right mind would choose to go to him. Not interested in the patients. Have to sign a lot of papers to release him of any legal responsibility. Believe me I am being generous by not saying what I really feel about him and the Workers Comp system that uses him. Good Luck to those that have to go to him.
