Dr. David Amran

I have had bad allergies my entire life. I no longer have to be miserable and other than my shots I am hardly ever medicated anymore. I always refer him to family and friends. He is the best doctor for allergies, and I have seen highly recommended doctors over the years. I never base my opinions on office staff since I am only concerned with excellent treatment and results. He has been my doctor for over 25 years.

Dr Amran, doctors and nurses are amazing. Front desk ladies are the worst. They talk with the patients like giving us a favor . Hope Dr Amran send them somewhere to Learn how to treat patients.

Honestly this was my first visit to see Dr Amran and as soon as he entered the room he was so nice and asking me questions and listened to what I had to say and he was really very knowledgeable he treated me well gave me medication and I was good to go I highly recommend this doctor to all my friends and family.

Terrible terrible terrible doctor. All he does is push Xolair on you.

First of all he doesn’t listen to you so you can tell him what is wrong. He thinks he knows it all. He dresses like a homeless person. I went in with all my records and his paperwork and he didn’t even look at it. He was asking questions that I had already filled out so what’s the point to fill out paperwork. When I go to see a doctor I want to see him not his other doctor or his staff in the room when it’s supposed to be private. I went in from a great reference from another doctor for my immune system and all he wanted to do is test for allergies. That so he can make more money. I've been seeing Dr Amran since 2009. I've known and worked with this Dr longer than any other. He provides service to my entire family and so long as one of us have allergies we will continue to do so.

Went to multiple ENT's, allergists and one pulmonologist over 3 years. So far my treatment plan with Dr. Amran had proven very successful on a comparative basis. ????????

I feel so much better since I have been seeing Dr. Amran. I don't think I have ever waited more than 5 minutes to get my shots and I have always been taken immediately when I need to see the doctor. The staff is wonderful!

I am sorry for giving this low rating , it is not the doctor but the doctor's office . I arrived an hour early for my scheduled appointment on 2/17/2020, so i could fill out all the forms. when i arrived and after i filled out the patient sheet, i was told i had no appointment at all , i had to answer few questions, what is your name and your last name even thought i wrote for them . anyway I showed the two ladies at the front desk the confirmation email and text!! and they still told me i had no appointment..... then one one of them asked me who did i make my appointment with , they made me feel like crap, my hives were acting up and they upsetting me at the same time, not one of them offered me to take a seat so they can figure it out , no she said we have to schedule you for next week cause we are booked .... really ????? i then took my wife and walked out . I will never ever go there if they pay me . oh if that was me not showing up, i would have to pay $25 ..... go figure

I am so pleased and impressed with Dr. Amran's office. So thorough with treatment. I have been going for 6 months and I have not had a respiratory reaction since. Prior to going here I was sick every other month at least. So glad I was referred by my PCP.

Both of my children see Dr. Amran and we love him. He is extremely knowledgeable and an overall excellent doctor.

Dr. Amran, and staff are very wonderful. They take good care of me and worry on my health. They are the best I have seen. I have seen Dr. Amran for nearly 10 years.

I have been I have been the lucky patient of Dr. Amran for over 18 years. His office has always been efficient and caring. He explains what he's doing and why.

Dr. Amran is wonderful. He spent over 2 hours with me on my initial appointment after I had a horrible experience at my previous PCP. If you think you have or know you have allergies and/or asthma, he is the doctor to go to. The staff is always friendly and professional also. I highly recommend.

This office/practice has zero credibility and, clearly, patient experience is not their operational priority. Appointments are modified based on changed availability all the time. Unfortunately, we started allergy shot program in this office, and now practice proves that they truly do not care about their patients. They only look at you as money cow. This office extremely in need for training about patient experience. This is not patient-centered practice.

Do NOT go to this place. Worst booking experience ever. Had to wait for one month for an appointment and on the appointment day I was told there were no appointment for me. Staff won't help and no notice was sent out to me. I was simply told that the docotor was out for family stuff prob on vacation and won't be back for another month. Dr. Amran and his staff are absolutely the BEST. There is a family atmosphere in the office & everyone is treated with respect. This practice has not credibility! I can't believe all ththe positive reviews on internet about this practice. It must be hired to do so. The doctor and staff simply do not care about their patients and their appointments are just jokes. They can cancel your appointment or have your wait for months for appointment and when you show up they just told you that you are not in the system. I can't believe this.

Overcharged me, Said they would charge $650 for visit, later that week they rescheduled and said it going to be $150 because I have no insurance. I came to my appointment, after it was done, they then said it was 650.00. Couldn't leave until I paid the $650. I'm poor. this hurt me allot. after that they offed $810 for test almost lost it. I'm self pay. what happen to the 150.00. They said the person that called me must have been confused. Fist time visits are 650.00. Soy, soy lecithin is poisonous to me, they wanted to test it on my back, tried to explain to them the fragrance in the air contains soy thats affecting me in there office. Putting in my back for a test would give me an over dose of soy. I have been a patient of Dr. Amran's for maybe a year now. While I believe Dr. Amran to be a thorough and caring doctor, I can't say the same for his staff. During my visits to his office, his staff are not polite, inconsiderate and just downright rude at times. It makes for an extremely uncomfortable appointment. Additionally, the staff does not follow-up after your appointment. If it doesn't get taken care of right then, I don't expect it to get taken care of at all. It's too bad. Great doctor! Very polite and really takes the time to listen to you. Has my allergies under control! Very friendly staff, highly recommend!

He explains everything and always has time to see me. I have chronic problems to which he gives great concern. I have been his patient for 18 years. I recommend him highly.

My family has been seeing Dr. Amran for years. You will not find a more caring, compassionate and thorough doctor in all of Houston and maybe beyond. Dr Amran, Courtney and all of the staff go above and beyond the normal to make sure you get the right diagnosis, the best care and even dealing with insurance issues to get things approved where other Dr.'s and staff would just tell you to deal with it yourself and not care if you got the approvals and just charge you and tell you to pay it or go away. Dr Amran has been my doctor since 2001. He is incredibly compassionate, empathetic and will always go beyond the usual doctor care. I am very confident he has my best interest in his diagnosis and medical decisions we've encountered through the years. I'm bringing my 81 year old mother in for allergy testing. I'm very careful of who her doctors are and know Dr Amran will help figure out her current severe allergic reactions. The entire staff is very caring and patient. This doctor is not a good listener--he goes off at the mouth Assuming Everything and Knowing Nothing. He even split-up my appointment into two separate visits just so that he can charge my insurance twice.

Dr Amran is very calm and has a nice friendly manner. He is never in a rush and takes the time to talk to you. The staff are all very nice and give pain free injections. They always are pulling my paper work before I even write my name! So they know my name despite the many patients they see. Also I don't know of an office that has better shot hours. It is very convient! I'm so glad I picked dr Amran's office and my allergies have improved a lot since getting allergy shots. I have been a patient for over 2 years. Dr Amran and his staff are amazing. My daughter was very sick for 3 months and we are so thankful that after seeing 2 other doctors and spending thousands of dollars on tests that we finally found Dr Amran. He very systematically worked through all of my daughter's issues until he found the cause and even helped us find a specialist to make sure there were not other things going on. We thank God for Dr Amran and his staff. They even call to check up on you after your visits...great customer service and excellent medical care. Dr Amran and his staff are amazing. My daughter (8) and I have been seeing Dr. Amran for the past 5 years. He is very thorough and knows what he is doing. He has helped tremendously with my daughter’s asthma and allergies. What I like the most about him is that he does not just try to sell you on anything he keeps your long term goals in mind not just a short term fix. I have been to many allergists who will just give you temporary solutions. He treats everyone as if it were his family member. thanks dr. amran.
