We highly recommend Dr. Patel and his staff. He is very attentive and doesn't rush you through the appointment. He is very thorough in his diagnosis and explanations. Great bedside manner and puts the patient at ease.

I was referred to Dr. Patel several months ago with what I suspected was a painful trigger finger. Dr. Patel treated the issue after confirming my suspicions. Since the first visit I no longer have pain and the trigger finger for the most part (95+%) is gone. On the second visit we also discussed future options should the issue worsen and surgery needed. As I said in the “Title” line, this is a very comforting thought. I highly recommend Dr. Darshan Patel for any hand related issues.

I had numbness and tingling in both hands, worse in the right hand. Dr. Patel spent time explaining the possible issues, had some tests done to confirm/determine the extent of nerve/muscle damage, and then reviewed the carpal tunnel surgery with me. Right hand surgery was done in March with good results. At the appropriate time, the Left hand was also done in early May and is healing well. Numbness is gone from the left hand and slowing improving in the right hand affected digits. I am very pleased with the surgery results and would recommend Dr Patel should you have issues with your hands.

When I accidentally broke my wrist, I was not sure who I could go to to fix it. Dr Patel is a very confident, excellent, wonderful gift of care. He is solid in his care, very consistent, and can give you confidence upfront that his care is the perfect choice. I was able to put full trust in Dr Patel. My wrist has even healed much quicker than I originally thought it would. I am grateful to have found Dr Patel as he is now my Go To Surgeon if I should need him again in the future. He is also my choice for my family members should they require a Surgeon. He has the most attentive and caring Staff working with him. They were always available when I had a question and I will say that Dr Patel's office is well organized and that everything ran smoothly and provided a Total Care atmosphere in a comfortable, clean office environment. Dr Patel did surgery on my left broken wrist. He and his staff are very caring and explained everything thoroughly to me before and after surgery. I would highly recommend him and the Houston Methodist Orthopedics Center
