The staff are always courteous, efficient and friendly. Dr. Kawalsky, as always, is an amazing, helpful, very knowledgeable physician with a great sense of humor.

Dr. Kawalsky has a great patient first approach. He quickly diagnosed a potential issue, provided immediate testing and created a long term healthcare plan for me that will improve my quality of life.

I MADE MY FIRST VISIT WITH DR. KAWALSKY THIS WEEK AND WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE ENTIRE PROCESS. HE WAS QUICK TO CONCERN HIMSELF WITH ALL MY PAST MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES. COVERED MY MEDICATIONS, AS WELL AS THE NEED FOR REFILLS AND THEN SET ME UP FOR A EXAMINATION ON CAROTID ARTERIES, ONLY BECAUSE I HAD NEVER BEEN TESTED FOR THIS PROCEDURE BEFORE. HIS NURSE IMMEDIATELY GAVE ME AN EKG, AND HIS ENTIRE STAFF WAS VERY HAPPY TO OBLIGE MY EVERY QUESTION OF INTEREST. THE APPOINTMENT WAIT WAS ONE OF THE SHORTEST I'VE EXPERIENCED IN A LONG TIME. THE OFFICE ENVIRONMENT WAS VERY ROOMY, NEAT AND CLEAN. VERY IMPORTANT AS A RESULT OF COVID-19.

Came in for a follow up since have AFib, Dr. Kawalsky took the time to read reports and conference with another doctor to co-ordinate medication

I appreciated all the precautions that was taken to make me feel more at ease about visiting the doctor's office at this time. I was very impressed when I checked out. I was asked to return the ink pen directly to her so she could clean it. I can only remember one place of business that cleaned the check out screen and pen. At another clinic I recently visited, they checked my temp. by touching the scanner to my forehead right after doing the same for the person in front of me. I feel it should have been cleaned after each use. Your practice scanned my forehead without touching the skin which seems much safer.

I've been Dr. Kawalsky's patient for over twenty-five years. He's seen me through by-pass surgery and two angioplasties successfully. I have the utmost confidence in him and his associates and the staff at North Texas Heart Center which I consider a Dallas institution.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kawalsky's for many years. He has guided me and and helped me through years of heart problems. There is no one I trust more with my health. He always makes and takes time for me when I have needed him. I would recommend him to any and all who may need an experienced cardiologist.

Dr. Kawalsky has been treating me for the past 15+ years. He has always been complete in his examinations. With his Stephen scope he detected abnormality in the veins on my neck. Ordered further testing showed that my left side had 70% blockage. He detected an abnormality in the heart and found that one chamber did not fill completely before contracting. It is this thoroughness to detail that sets him apart from others.

My experience was basically good. I had a stress test, which was stressful, but the technician was very professional and put me at ease as best she could. I was not entirely happy with the understanding that those who are coming in close contact with patients are not tested every single morning before working closely with patients. I returned recently to see Dr Kowalsky after several years of not needing to see him. I was referred to him this time to get clearance for an upcoming surgery. I got an appointment very quickly and waited only a short time in his office before meeting with him. After running an EKG, he met with me and I found him very thoughtful and open when he shared his thoughts with me. He asked me to return for one additional test which he felt strongly would give him the confidence to give me the clearance to go ahead with the planned surgery. The staff was very courteous and I didn't have to wait long. Everyone was very professional. I felt confident that I was in good hands. If you are looking for a cardiologist that tells it like it is and not sugar coat your diagnosis than Dr. Kawalsky is for you. I happen to like that in a doctor!

Dr. Kawalsky listens to what you have to say and seems to really care about the general health of his patients, not just the health of their heart. I have been a patient of his since 1994.

Dr Kawalsky has been my wife's cardiologist since 2010 when she was quickly helicoptered from Presby Rockwall to Presby Dallas while experiencing a life threatening cardiac event. Dr. Kawalsky takes time answer my questions,he explains things to my satisfaction and does rush thru the exam. I have been with Dr. K. since Oct. 4,1992 the day I had my heart attack. He told me exactly when had happened and explained my options. He was staight to the point with me as to my options. I was completely satisfied. For this I have stuck with him for all these years.

Dr. Kawalsky has been especially attentive to my heart situation over the past two years and I have greatly benefited. I have been able to continue an active life-style, playing tennis again with my friends, and over-all being well above average in good health for an 83 year heart attack survivor. I recommend him without reservation. Not only is he a good Dr., but if you need immediate treatment, his staff will make him available on short notice. To me, that is very important.

Dr Kawalsky correctly diagnosed my condition and referred me to the appropriate doctor. He did the same for a dear friend and saved her life after she had been misdiagnosed and mistreated by a series of doctors.
