Incredibly knowledgeable & efficient. He solves issues & I don't get the run around with "oh what the heck, let's try this". His diagnostic & treatment plans are spot on. His office efficiently follows up on post care. I've been a very satisfied patient for many years.

Dr Heap is an amazing Doctor. He completely cured my reflux problem. He is so personable and explains things with such ease. I would highly recommend him!

My 83 year old husband had blood detected in his stool. Our first referral to another gastroenterologist was 2.5 months out. Dr. Heaps office saw us in two weeks. His office staff were professional and Dr. Heap was succinct, direct and polite. He performed my husband’s colonoscopy and delivered the great news that there was no problem. As far as I’m concerned, Dr. Heap and his staff inspire confidence. I appreciate his direct communication style. It was an excellent experience and we are both thankful to have him as our doctor. The front desk does not follow Covid 19 protocol and argues with patients when they point out the six foot rule. She was very rude a didn't listen to the gentleman's concerns, just talked right over him telling him he has to sign in or she wouldn't help him. BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE TO GO HERE.

Dr. Heap is very thorough! My husband has some rare conditions and Dr. Heap is not giving up in finding more answers. He talks to you like a real person, he.is so kind and caring as well as his entire staff!

The women answering the phone should get a different job. One where they don't have to talk to people.

Thorough, detailed, explains everything and brought me in after hours for emergency procedure.

I was referred to Dr Heap after I was in the ER for possible autoimmune hepatitis. The first time I met him he laid out the worst possible scenario- telling me I may need a liver transplant! He put me on the highest dosage of prednisone and Imuran. I went to Swedish in Seattle 6 weeks later to discover I don’t need these drugs and I am NOT Going to need a liver transplant. His bedside manner is very poor and he treats patients as if they are ignorant. Find another doctor

I have seen many GI doctors in my life, but stopped looking once I found Dr. Heap. I've now been his patients for many years and he always delivers. He is extremely thorough and prepared. He always reviews your chart before you see him and approaches you in a personal and professional manner. He listens to your concerns and will carefully answer your questions. If something is out of his scope, he'll refer you to the appropriate specialist. He takes great care with his patients. Now my entire family sees him and have never been disappointed! Dr. Heap has to be the worst Dr. as far as his concern for his patients well being. Initially (5 years ago) he seemed to be fine. My last visit I had severe abdominal pains after my colonoscopy, when I tried to contact him, I could only reach his nurse who said he was positive it had nothing to do with his procedure and to contact my preferred provider. As it turned out it was a gal bladder issue, but his response or lack of response was appalling. I cannot recommend Dr. Heap at all.

Really Great doctor. Excellent beside manner. He's a busy doctor, but felt he gave me all the time I needed/wanted.

At first, Dr Heap seems a little strange. But he KNOWS his stuff! I've had two other doctors tell me that he is the smartest doctor they know.....a walking encyclopedia. DR. Heap tells it like it is and does it. I would recommend him to everyone.

I have Hep-C and have been trying to get on Harvoni my insurance has denied the medication and Dr. Heap said he would do anything to help me to go SupportPath route. When Supportpath contacted to do an appeal his assistant discarded the paper work, so we made an appointment to talk to him face to face, once again he said I will do what it takes, and once again his assistant has called and she is to lazy to do the paperwork for me to get on Harvoni. I don't recommend this doctor, get one who w
